Exercise teaching is the top priority of primary school Chinese teaching,which can not only exercise students’ language application ability,but also examine students’ comprehensive Chinese quality.Under the traditional exercise teaching mode,the indoctrination learning phenomenon is more serious,and the initiative and learning quality of students’ exercise are poor.Under the influence of the new curriculum reform,more and more attention has been paid to the cultivation of students’ exercise initiative in exercise teaching in middle and high grades of primary schools,and the concept of living exercise teaching has been widely applied in exercise teaching.This paper is divided into five parts: introduction,concept definition and theoretical basis,current situation investigation,cause analysis and optimization strategy.The introduction mainly expounds the background,purpose and significance of the research,research methods,and comments on the existing research.Concept definition and theoretical basis This paper explains the concepts related to exercise teaching and living exercise teaching,and provides theoretical basis for this paper by explaining Piaget’s cognitive development theory,constructivism theory and Gardner’s multiple intelligences theory.The current situation investigation part takes students in Grade 3 to 6 of a public primary school in Zaozhuang City as the research object.Through questionnaire survey,teacher interview,classroom observation and other research methods,it sorts out the current situation of students’ interest,habit,motivation,difficulty,content,classroom and expectation of exercise in current exercise teaching,and finds that there is a contradiction between students’ interest and ability development.There is a contradiction between students’ expectation and backward traditional writing teaching,and there is a gap between students’ writing ability and curriculum standard requirements.In the part of the cause analysis,the causes of the life-style exercise teaching problems in middle and high grades of primary schools are sorted into four aspects: teachers’ insufficient understanding of life-style exercise teaching,exercise teaching oriented utilitarianism,exercise teaching and classroom away from life,and insufficient accumulation of students’ life.Aiming at the problems and causes,the optimization strategy part puts forward the operable living exercises in middle and high grade exercise classes in primary schools from four aspects:awakening students’ exercise motivation,guiding students’ participation in class,developing life-oriented teaching content and innovating life-oriented teaching methods.
