The theme activities emphasize the integration and application of knowledge,the ability of teachers and the life experience of children.The curriculum creation of themed activities in kindergarten closely revolves around the changes of children’s real life,as well as children’s interests and needs.Meaningful thematic activities are conducive to the development of children,teachers’ professional growth and the improvement of educational practice.But in the process of kindergarten education practice,there are also some problems in the development of theme activities.Therefore,the author has a strong research interest in themed activities.Based on the theory of themed activities carried out by the kindergarten where the author works,this study adopts literature method,conversation method,case analysis method and other research methods to carry out a real study on the practice of themed activities in kindergarten small classes.Through interviews with 3 teachers of Primary K class in a combination of formal and informal conversation,we understand the concept of theme activities in kindergarten classes and their value significance to the development of children.Taking "Bean" theme activity as an example,the design and implementation of small-class theme activities are specifically explored.The design of theme activities:teachers mainly from the determination of theme activities objectives,preparation and content selection of theme activities.The implementation of the theme activities: it introduces the connection between children and the theme through preliminary sensory experience,deepening the understanding of the theme through games,and finally sublimating the theme through cultural integration.Finally,the teachers summarized the theme activities by presenting the theme activities board and holding the theme activities sharing meeting.Theme activities focus on collective activities,group activities,regional activities to carry out,with children as the main body,enrich children’s experience,play,promote children’s physical and mental harmonious development.Through the practice of "bean" theme activities in kindergarten classes,it is found that there is something worth learning in the practice of small class theme activities,and there are some problems.In order to further explore how to carry out the theme activities of kindergarten small classes more smoothly,the corresponding improvement suggestions are put forward: in the aspect of theme activity design,we should accurately grasp the target of theme activities,enrich the preparation of theme activities,and choose the content centered on children;The implementation of theme activities: increase teaching and research opportunities,develop teachers’ teaching skills,seize children’s interests to generate activities in time,and extend theme activities in multiple ways;The evaluation of theme activities: the evaluation takes children as the main body and many subjects participate in the evaluation.
