| Novel is a literary genre with great educational value,and novel reading teaching is of great significance to improve students’ reading ability and cultivate their core language literacy.In recent years,there have been numerous studies on novel reading teaching,but the majority of scholars have focused their research on novel reading teaching methods,and relatively little research has been conducted on novel reading teaching contents.However,the content of teaching is the core of the whole teaching,and the construction of appropriate novel reading teaching content can better improve students’ novel reading ability.The current novel reading teaching content in high school still has problems such as patterned phenomenon,self-limiting phenomenon,and superficial phenomenon.Deep learning,as the current research hotspot in the field of education and the inevitable trend of future teaching development,has been introduced into the field of language teaching by many scholars,which has injected vitality into the teaching of various genres,and can also provide new ideas for the optimization of novel reading teaching content.The construction of novel reading teaching content by means of deep learning meets the requirements of the new curriculum,is in line with the characteristics of high school novels,is in line with the academic situation of high school,is conducive to improving students’ novel reading ability,promotes novel reading teaching reform,improves teachers’ novel reading teaching ability,and can to a certain extent solve the problems of the current novel reading teaching content in high school.To apply deep learning to high school novel reading teaching,teachers can focus on the characteristics of the genre to reflect the novel reading teaching characteristics;pay attention to the characteristics of the unit to explore the direction of the unit teaching;deep single study to explore the core teaching content of the three aspects of the construction of personalized teaching content.We can build teaching contents that point to transfer and application from three aspects: attaching importance to extended reading to broaden teaching contents;linking existing experiences to update teaching contents;and connecting with social life to optimize teaching contents.From setting up questions to cultivate critical thinking ability,creating situations to develop creative thinking ability,and diversified evaluation to strengthen reflective thinking ability,the teaching contents point to higher-order thinking.In this way,students’ personalized understanding of the text is realized,their transfer of knowledge is strengthened,and their higher-order thinking skills are cultivated. |
