The Role Positioning And Adjustment Path Of Street Social Work Service Stations

Currently,the construction of social work service stations is rapidly advancing nationwide.As an important platform for multiple subjects to participate in grass-roots governance,social work service stations play an important role in improving the level of grass-roots Community Governance in the new era.Various regions across the country have introduced relevant policies to gradually promote the full coverage of social work service stations,ushering in new opportunities for the development of the social work industry.However,the imbalance in the level of economic development in various regions of China has posed new challenges to the construction of social work service stations,among which the issue of where social work service stations should be located and what services they should provide is particularly prominent.The street social work service station,as an important component of the three-level construction system of "district street community",its professionalism has a significant impact on the overall construction.Under the guidance of the role theory,this paper takes the street social work service station in W City as the research object,and discusses the role positioning of the street social work service station in practice.This study takes the D Street Social Work Service Station in W City as the specific analysis object,and conducts in-depth interviews with relevant personnel such as civil affairs department staff,community workers,operational agency leaders,organizing leaders,resident social workers,and service objects,summarizing the expectations of multiple roles.Research has found that the role expectations of diverse subjects towards street social work service stations can be summarized from the following three aspects:firstly,assisting grassroots communities in public affairs activities,specifically manifested as administrative service supporters and public service assistants;The second is to carry out work closely related to professional nature,manifested as community resident organizers and governance platform builders;The third is to provide professional social work services related to Anhui University of Engineering Master’s Thesis II,manifested as professional service providers and professional construction promoters.The street social work service station performs role-playing under the expectations of stakeholders.However,under the influence of various reasons,the social work service stations in the streets have a role distance in terms of service scope and service level,unclear cognition of the roles of internal and external related subjects,and Role conflict between different service properties and service items.Through summarizing research materials on street social work service stations,the author understands that the main reasons for the role imbalance of street social work service stations include:imperfect macro level policies,unclear role positioning,insufficient internal construction of social work institutions at the meso level,weak interaction between related entities,insufficient professional level of resident social workers at the micro level,and vague understanding of service object roles.In response to the above issues and causes,this article proposes the following suggestions:firstly,improve relevant policies such as financial support,social propaganda,and operation management,clarify the role positioning of street social work service stations,and optimize their operating environment;Secondly,strengthen the professional level construction of the undertaking institutions,enhance the linkage of multiple entities,and enhance the collaborative governance ability;Finally,starting from relevant entities such as resident social workers,service recipients,and grassroots staff,strengthen the understanding of the roles of internal and external entities and establish reasonable expectations.To sum up,this paper briefly analyzes the role orientation of street social work service stations in Community Governance.The street social work service station elevates its services to the street level based on the "three societies linkage" and "five societies linkage".Therefore,it is necessary to accurately identify the service objects under the premise of limited resources,use direct and indirect integration of work methods,and ensure the professionalism and effectiveness of services.However,it is worth further thinking about how street social work service stations can clarify service boundaries and ensure the unity of professionalism and independence.
