With the strengthening of our emphasis on Chinese excellent traditional culture,as the carrier of excellent traditional culture,as the textbook enters the classroom,the classical ancient poetry plays a pivotal role in the language teaching.Illustration is an important educational resource in the teaching of ancient poetry,a tool for teachers and students to understand the text,and also a way to experience emotion and culture.The rich humanistic value behind the illustrations not only contributes to the teaching of ancient poetry and prose,but also provides important support for the cultivation of core qualities.This study takes the illustrations of ancient poetry and prose in the unified compilation of primary school Chinese textbooks as the research object,and takes the double coding theory and literary image theory as the research basis.Firstly,the current research situation of illustrations of ancient poetry and prose is sorted out through the literature research method.Secondly,based on the literature image theory and content analysis method,this paper analyzes the types,characteristics and educational value of 122 illustrations of ancient poems and texts in 12 volumes of unified Chinese textbooks for primary schools from grade 1 to Grade 6.Thirdly,taking S Primary School in J District of X City as the research base,this paper investigates the use of illustrations of ancient poems and texts by first-line Chinese teachers through interviews,summarizes the existing problems in the use of illustrations from four dimensions of teaching cognition,teaching objectives,teaching implementation and teaching evaluation,and analyzes the causes of the problems on this basis.Finally,based on the analysis of illustrations of ancient poems and texts and the current teaching situation,the corresponding teaching strategies are proposed.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn: First,the illustration types of ancient poetry and prose in the unified compilation of primary school Chinese textbooks are summarized into three types: close type,loose type and transcendent type,and the characteristics of illustrations showing the beauty of nature,penetrating traditional culture and being close to real life are summarized,and then the educational value of illustrations is analyzed.Secondly,it summarizes the main problems existing in front-line teaching: first,teachers’ cognition of illustration is not comprehensive enough;second,teaching goal setting is fixed;third,teaching implementation is simple;fourth,illustration teaching evaluation lacks reflection.To solve the above problems,the causes are as follows: teachers lack of learning and guidance on illustration,teaching objectives are bound by exam-oriented education,lack of research on the implementation of illustration teaching of ancient poetry and prose,teachers’ consciousness of evaluation of illustration teaching is weak.Finally,based on the research findings,this paper puts forward some teaching strategies to change the concept of using illustrations of ancient poetry and prose,optimize the achievement of illustrations of ancient poetry and prose,improve the implementation ability of illustrations of ancient poetry and prose,and improve the evaluation mechanism of illustrations of ancient poetry and prose,so as to provide some suggestions for improving the illustration system of ancient poetry and prose and first-line teaching. |
