The report of the 20th CPC National Congress pointed out that it is necessary to speed up the realization of the goal of being a "big sports country" and has formulated a set of policies and policies aimed at promoting the all-round and healthy development of children and adolescents.Children’s movement coordination is not only directly related to the development of children’s movement ability, but also directly related to children’s physiological development. The age of 8-9 is the "critical period" of movement and movement development in girls.Timely and effective intervention should be carried out to improve movement and movement skills in girls. As a popular sport for girls, flower ball cheerleading not only exercises the body, but also promotes mental health development. Therefore, this paper selects flower ball cheerleading to intervene in girls, aiming to improve motor coordination ability in girls and provide reference for physical education.Through the methods of literature, expert interview, teaching experiment and mathematical statistics, and other methods were used to randomly select two classes of 8-9 years old girls in the third grade of Qingyang Primary School in Pingshun County,Changzhi City as experimental subjects,40 girls were divided into 2 classes, and the experiment was carried out.On this basis, the advantages and disadvantages of the two methods are observed. Before and after the experiment, the international motor coordination tester(MABC-2)was used to detect the movement coordination between the test group and the control group, and the results were as follows:(1)flower ball cheerleading class and regular physical education class have a certain improvement in hand fine movement, positioning and grasping, dynamic and static balance ability, but the effect of flower ball cheerleading class on motor coordination ability in girls is more obvious than that of conventional physical education class.(2)Through intra-group comparison,it was found that there were significant differences(P < 0.05)in the dominant hand nail insertion scores of fine motor hands in the flower ball cheerleading class, and very significant differences in other fine motor hand scores(P < 0.01);There were significant differences between positioning and grasping performance in flower ball cheerleading(P < 0.01).Flower ball cheerleading had significant effect on the dynamic and static balance of girls(P < 0.01).(3)By comparison between groups,it was found that there were significant differences(P < 0.01)in fine hand movement threading and single leg balance of dynamic and static balance of girls after the flower ball cheerleading class and regular physical education experiment, and there were significant differences in other scores(P < 0.05).
