Motor Coordination ability and sports learning interest are essential factors to promote the physical and mental health development of adolescents.The ability to coordinate movements refers to the ability of the body’s various organ systems and movement parts to coordinate with each other to complete various movements during physical activity.It forms the basis for good performance and plays an important role in improving the physical fitness and function of middle school students.Sports learning interest is a psychological inclination for people to actively recognize,explore or participate in sports activities.Junior high school stage is an important period to cultivate the interest in sports learning.Stimulating the sports learning interest of junior high school students during this period is conducive to forming awareness of physical exercise and developing lifelong exercise habits.Flower ball cheerleading,which integrates music,dance,gymnastics,and skills,has a passionate and lively style and a unique team cohesion,which conforms to the physical and mental development characteristics of contemporary middle school students and is very popular among students.This study discusses the influence of flower ball cheerleading on the motor coordination ability and sports learning interest of junior high school students.It is of great significance to promote flower ball cheerleading in school physical education,enrich the content of middle school physical education curriculum,and improve the physical and mental health level of junior high school students.This study mainly employs literature review,expert interview,questionnaire survey,experimental method,psychological measurement method,mathematical statistics,etc.,taking 74 junior grade one students in Huaqiao Middle School of ShangRao City as the experimental objects,to explore the effects of 12-week flower ball cheerleading and regular physical education on the motor coordination ability and sports learning interest of junior middle school students.Research results:(1)After 12 weeks of flower ball cheerleading teaching,there were significant differences between standing on one foot with closed eyes(P=0.048<0.05),walking on the balance beam(P=0.035<0.05),rhythm running(P=0.022<0.05)and turning in place and changing direction(P=0.031<0.05)between the experimental group and the control group.There was no significant difference in the hex bounce ball(P=0.840>0.05).(2)After 12 weeks of flower ball cheerleading teaching,there was a significant difference in the overall level of physical education learning interest(P=0.034<0.05)between the experimental group and the control group.(3)After 12 weeks of flower ball cheerleading teaching,there was a significant difference in the positive interest in physical education learning(P=0.031<0.05)between the experimental group and the control group.There were significant differences in the dimensions of sports participation(P=0.008<0.01),autonomy and inquiry(P=0.009<0.01)and focus on sports(P=0.002<0.01).There was no significant difference in negative interest in physical education learning(P=0.797>0.05)and awareness of physical education(P=0.296>0.05).The research conclusions:(1)Flower ball cheerleading teaching has a positive impact on the motor coordination ability of junior high school students.Compared with regular physical education,the balance ability,rhythm ability and spatial orientation ability of junior high school students were significantly improved.(2)Flower ball cheerleading teaching has a positive effect on the overall level of junior high school students’ interest in physical education.The overall level of physical education interest of junior high school students was improved by a greater extent than that of conventional physical education.(3)The flower ball cheerleading teaching have different degree influence on each dimension of junior high school students’ interest in physical education.The positive interest in physical education,sports participation,autonomy and inquiry of junior high school students was significantly different.
