The ’ 5E ’ teaching method is a teaching method that takes students as the main body,stimulates students ’ cognitive interest and thinking,emphasizes the learning process,and highlights knowledge innovation and application.Based on the revision and promulgation of the new curriculum standard,keeping up with the needs of the times and the characteristics of physical education and health disciplines,focusing on dealing with the practical problems in the education process,guiding physical education teachers to establish the idea of reform and innovation,reforming the education methods and assessment methods,so as to improve the quality of physical education and health education.In this paper,through the experimental study of ’ 5E ’ teaching method and traditional teaching method in the teaching of solid ball in junior middle school,in order to understand the influence of different methods on the teaching effect of solid ball in junior middle school students,explore the application value of ’ 5E ’ teaching in the teaching of solid ball in junior middle school,fully tap the advantages of ’ 5E ’ teaching method to make up for the shortcomings of traditional physical education teaching,and provide new ideas and new methods for the reform of physical education in junior middle school.The research uses the literature data method,questionnaire survey method,teaching experiment method,mathematical statistics method,etc.,taking the students of Class(6)and Class(7)of the first grade of Gengpeng Middle School in Fuyang City as the experimental object,setting Class(6)of the first grade as the control class,using traditional physical education,and Class(7)of the first grade as the experimental class,using the ’ 5E ’ teaching method for teaching.A total of 14 weeks and 28 hours of teaching experiments were conducted to compare and analyze the changes of students ’ physical fitness scores,solid ball throwing scores above the front hands,students ’ interest in physical education,students ’sense of cooperation,and students ’ perseverance quality indicators before and after the experiment.Results :(1)The ’ 5E ’ teaching method is integrated into the solid ball classroom.The physical fitness of boys(standing long jump P = 0.97 > 0.05,push-ups P = 0.275 > 0.05)and girls(standing long jump P = 0.584 > 0.05,sitting solid ball P = 0.078 > 0.05)are compared with the control class after the experiment.The P value is greater than 0.05 and there is no statistical difference.Boys ’ physical fitness(P= 0.010,P = 0.000 < 0.01)and girls ’ physical fitness(P = 0.029 < 0.05,P = 0.048 < 0.05)were statistically different from the control class after the experiment.(2)Under the guidance of ’ 5E ’ teaching method,the male and female students ’ performance of throwing solid balls above the head of their positive hands was compared with the control group after the experiment.The P value was less than 0.05,and there was a statistical difference.(3)’ 5E ’ teaching method in cultivating students ’ interest in sports learning,cooperation consciousness,perseverance quality after the experiment compared with the control class P values were less than 0.05,there are statistical differences.Conclusions and Suggestions : Conclusions :(1)’ 5E ’ teaching method is more effective in improving the effect of throwing solid balls after boys and girls,throwing solid balls in boys ’ sitting posture,and sit-ups in girls.(2)’ 5E ’ teaching method is more conducive to the improvement of solid ball performance than traditional teaching method.(3)Compared with traditional teaching,’ 5E ’ teaching method is more conducive to cultivating students ’ interest in physical education,cooperation consciousness and perseverance.Suggestions :(1)The use of ’ 5E ’ teaching method in physical education,combined with the content of physical education teaching should be flexible use of five stages.(2)In the use of ’ 5E ’teaching method in physical education,we should pay attention to the question setting,and promote the last link of learning and the next link of learning.(3)the use of ’ 5E ’ teaching method in physical education teaching,pay attention to the role of teachers,classroom subject reversal,teacher guidance is the key to guide students ’ emotions when guiding thinking.(4)the use of ’ 5E ’ teaching method in physical education,pay attention to the integrity of the evaluation,to run through the whole physical education activities,not only after the end of physical education activities,but also to evaluate in many aspects,in order to promote the all-round development of students.(5)When using the ’ 5E ’ teaching method,we should also learn from the advantages of traditional physical education,supplement and improve the shortcomings of the ’ 5E ’ teaching method,and innovate and design a more efficient junior high school solid ball teaching method.
