Investigation On The Current Situation Of Teachers’ Professional Ability Of Preschool Education Major Normal Students

Abstract/Summary:
As the main force of preschool teachers in the future,improving the professional ability of preschool teachers is the key measure to improve the quality of preschool teachers in the future.As the main position of pre-service training of preschool education teachers,undergraduate normal colleges should shoulder the responsibility of training high-quality talents,adapt to the new requirements of the new era for preschool teachers,and constantly improve the professional ability of preschool education teachers.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the professional ability of preschool education majors in undergraduate normal universities.This study takes the pre-school education normal students in J province as the research object,and uses the methods of questionnaire survey,interview and other research methods to investigate the current situation of teachers ’ professional ability around the four dimensions of teachers ’ moral practice ability,conservation and education practice ability,comprehensive education ability and independent development ability.In this study,SPSS25.0 was used to process and analyze the questionnaire data.Combined with the interview data,the overall situation of the professional ability of teachers in preschool education majors,the specific situation of the sub-dimensions,and the differences between the variables were statistically analyzed.The results show that the teachers ’ professional ability of preschool education majors is generally at the upper middle level(M = 3.73),but the development of each dimension is not balanced and there are weak links.Specifically,there are mainly the following problems in the professional ability of normal students majoring in preschool education : in terms of teachers ’ moral practice ability,insufficient attention is paid to the moral education of young children,and the humanistic connotation is weak;in terms of conservation and educational practice ability,they are not familiar with relevant policy documents,lack of ability to integrate the five major areas and independently create activity areas,and lack of diversified evaluation ability;in terms of comprehensive education ability,the ability to deal with emergencies is weak,and the methods of community education are single;in terms of independent development ability,career planning consciousness is weak,teaching reflection ability and teaching research ability need to be improved.On this basis,the reasons for the analysis of the problems in the professional ability of preschool education teachers mainly include: the effectiveness of moral education is not strong;the curriculum is out of touch with the ability training;the effect of educational practice is not good;the ’ double tutor ’ team is weak;normal students ’ selfdevelopment consciousness is not strong.Finally,according to the analysis of the existing problems and causes,the following countermeasures are put forward around the cultivation of teachers ’ professional ability of preschool education majors: Improve the effectiveness of moral education;adjust and improve the curriculum;optimizing the teaching practice;strengthen the construction of ’ double tutor ’ team;strengthen the subject consciousness of normal students ’ professional ability training.
