The Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to revolutionary spirit education,and General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed in the 20 th Party Congress to promote the spiritual genealogy of the Chinese Communists,make good use of red resources,give full play to the educational role of the spirit of the Chinese Communist Party,and make efforts to cultivate new people of the times who will take up the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.Fang Zhimin is an outstanding representative of the Chinese Communists’ adherence to ideals and beliefs and their love for the Party and the country.The spirit of Fang Zhimin,with the connotation of "patriotism,poverty,dedication and creativity",is part of the spiritual spectrum of the Chinese Communists,an important part of the spirit of the Chinese revolution,an excellent red resource,a valuable spiritual treasure and a precious resource for history teaching and education.a precious resource for history teaching and education.In the new era,Fang Zhimin’s spirit education in high school history teaching is conducive to vigorously promoting Fang Zhimin’s spirit,strengthening patriotism education of high school students,strengthening ideal and belief education,and contributing to the overall development of moral and intellectual,physical,aesthetic and social qualities of high school students,to realize the fundamental task of history teaching to establish moral education and cultivate new people of the times who will take up the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.The research in this paper focuses on the issue of carrying out Fang Zhimin’s spiritual education in high school history teaching through a combination of literature research methods,survey research methods,and empirical methods.The specific logic of this paper starts from emphasizing the value of Fang Zhimin’s spirit education in high school history teaching;combining the background of the times,high school education environment,and history teaching practice,analyzing the real challenges of Fang Zhimin’s spirit education in high school history teaching,and analyzing the current problems of marginalization of Fang Zhimin’s spirit education in high school history teaching,insufficient development and utilization of curriculum resources,and poor educational effectiveness.In addition,we find out the fit between Fang Zhimin’s spirit and the content of high school history textbooks,and propose specific countermeasures to carry out Fang Zhimin’s spirit education in high school history teaching in terms of strengthening the development and utilization of Fang Zhimin’s spirit history curriculum resources,high school history classroom teaching,practical teaching,and teaching methods;finally,we apply the proposed specific countermeasures in teaching practice.Finally,the proposed countermeasures are applied to teaching practice,and an activity lesson is designed with the theme of "Inheriting Fang Zhimin’s spirit and striving to be the new man of the times who takes on the responsibility of national rejuvenation",and teaching practice and reflection are carried out to break through the real-life challenges to effectively carry out Fang Zhimin’s spirit education in high school history teaching.The research on Fang Zhimin’s spirit education in high school history teaching is conducive to deepening revolutionary spirit education,high school history teaching research,and further promoting the inheritance and promotion of Fang Zhimin’s spirit,providing reference and reference for revolutionary spirit education in high school history teaching.
