The family is the first school in a child’s life, and the input parents give to their children in their home education can have a critical impact on the child’s growth and development. At the important stage of children’s transition from kindergarten to elementary school,it is worth noting the effect of family’s investment in children’s education on children’s learning adjustment level in the first grade. In order to investigate the influence of family investment in education on children’s learning adjustment level in the first grade of elementary school, this study was based on a survey of 239 parents of first grade families in S.We used analysis of variance to understand the influence of demographic variables such as children’s gender, parents’ education, and average monthly household income on children’s learning adjustment, and analyzed the influence of family investment in education on children’s learning adjustment by multiple linear regression. The impact of family educational inputs on children’s learning adaptability was analyzed by multiple linear regression. This study concludes that, first, first grade girls have slightly higher levels of academic adjustment than boys.Second, the level of maternal education influences children’s learning adjustment.Third, the economic investment in family education did not have a significant effect on children’s learning adjustment in the older grades, while the time investment in family education could have a significant positive effect on children’s learning adjustment in the first grade.Based on the findings of this study,we suggest the following strategies to optimize family education investment in early childhood education to improve children’s learning adjustment: first,to face the gender difference and deal with the "boy crisis";second,to focus on the value of "mother’s endowment" and encourage fathers to participate in education;third,to pay continuous attention to time investment to improve children’s learning adjustment.Third,we should continue to pay attention to time investment and strengthen the cultivation of learning attitudes and habits;fourth, multiple parties should interact together to build an ecosystem of early childhood and elementary school.
