| The excellent Chinese traditional culture is extremely rich in ideas and connotations,and is the foundation of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the source of strength for the development of contemporary China.Traditional culture education is also very important for the realisation of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the improvement of individual core literacy.Therefore,it is imperative to integrate excellent Chinese traditional culture into chemistry teaching.This study takes the excellent Chinese traditional culture as the main keynote of the research and develops a series of studies around the teaching of chemistry in high school.The main research work and results are as follows.The concept of culture and excellent Chinese traditional culture is defined in the light of existing research: culture is "all existence related to human activity",i.e.,the sum of the results of human practice;excellent Chinese traditional culture refers to the positive,valuable and developmental parts of our traditional culture,even to the present and future.cultural factors that have a positive role and significance for today and the future.On this basis,the 5C model,STEAM education,constructivist learning theory and multiple intelligence theory are used as the theoretical basis,and the principles of adapting traditional culture to chemical knowledge,fitting traditional cultural materials to classroom capacity,and unifying knowledge with life and fun are combined to propose a teaching design concept and teaching model for high school chemistry based on Chinese excellent traditional culture.Then the classroom strategy of "constructing cultural contexts-creating relevant questions-chemical solutions that integrate culture-relating to everyday life-chemical exercises that integrate culture-sorting out classroom ideas" was proposed.Three typical high school chemistry teaching cases based on the excellent Chinese traditional culture were designed and implemented: "Inorganic substances containing halogen elements-Deciphering the Wordless Book of Heaven","Inorganic substances containing halogen elements-The Sinan of Chemical Reactions" and "Organic substances containing halogen elements-The Red Star Shines Brightly".The actual test was administered by means of a paper-and-pencil quiz.Statistical analysis was conducted using spss software to compare the performance characteristics and differences between students in the experimental and control classes by using the pre and post test scores of the subjects.The study showed that the effectiveness of teaching high school chemistry classrooms integrating Chinese traditional culture was significantly improved compared to that of traditional chemistry classrooms.This study also explored the current status of teaching high school chemistry based on excellent Chinese traditional culture.Firstly,a visual analysis of the current state of research at home and abroad was conducted in conjunction with Cite Space software to identify the survey dimensions.Then the questionnaire and interview outline were prepared and the survey was implemented.On the premise of ensuring the reliability and validity of the survey,spss software was used to process the data and analyse the current status of teaching of high school chemistry based on the excellent Chinese traditional culture.The results of the study showed that students were mostly more aware of the excellent Chinese traditional culture,especially of the excellent traditional cultural practices,and lacked knowledge of philosophical ideas and moral spirit.At the same time,although teachers have accumulated a certain amount of knowledge about the excellent Chinese traditional culture,they do not have enough reserves,and most of them said that the knowledge points where chemistry can be integrated with the excellent Chinese traditional culture are mainly concentrated in the chapters on the compounds of metal elements,and the integration is in a single way.The teaching of high school chemistry based on excellent Chinese traditional culture is a teaching of science with humanistic and philosophical aspects,changing the way chemistry is taught while stimulating students’ learning motivation and exploration,expanding the teaching space and integrating knowledge,storytelling and fun. |
