With the arrival of the big data era,data analysis has penetrated into science,technology,engineering,and various aspects of modern social life.Data analysis literacy has become one of the essential qualities of social citizens.According to the requirements of social development for talent cultivation,the "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)" includes data analysis as one of the six core competencies,and the position of data analysis in basic education is increasingly elevated.In high school education,the cultivation of data analysis literacy is mainly achieved through statistical teaching.Therefore,it is particularly important to implement the cultivation of data analysis literacy in high school statistical teaching.Firstly,this article uses the literature research method to sort out the relevant research on data analysis literacy and high school statistical teaching,define the core concepts of this article,construct a theoretical analysis framework,and divide data analysis literacy into four dimensions: collecting data,organizing data,analyzing data,and statistical inference.Secondly,a survey was conducted on some teachers and students of a high school in Hunan Province through methods such as questionnaire surveys and test questions,in order to understand the current status of data analysis literacy among high school students.Based on the comprehensive analysis of questionnaire surveys and test results,the problems existing in statistical teaching and learning processes among teachers and students were summarized and summarized;Finally,based on the goal of cultivating data analysis literacy,this article proposes targeted training suggestions from the perspectives of both teachers and students.Through a survey of the current status of data analysis literacy among high school students,it was found that the overall level of data analysis literacy among high school students is below average.Students have the strongest ability to collect data and the weakest ability to organize data.In addition,there is no significant gender difference in students’ data analysis literacy,but the performance of the physics class is better than that of the history class.Through the analysis of survey results,it is found that in the "teaching" and "learning" of high school statistics,teachers have the following problems:(1)lack of in-depth research on data analysis literacy;(2)Neglecting the generative nature of knowledge;(3)Lack of penetration of statistical thinking and methods;(4)Lack of cultivation of application awareness;(5)Not incorporating information technology to assist teaching.Students have the following problems:(1)Lack of interest in statistical learning;(2)Insufficient understanding of data analysis literacy;(3)There are obstacles in statistical learning;(4)Not experiencing complete data analysis activities;(5)Not forming good study habits.In response to the issues shown in the survey results,this article proposes the following suggestions.Suggestions for teachers include:(1)improving teachers’ professional literacy and conducting in-depth research on curriculum resources;(2)Optimize the teaching mode of statistics to achieve the goal of cultivating literacy;(3)Create opportunities for statistical practice and experience the process of data analysis;(4)Reasonably utilize information technology to improve efficiency and stimulate interest.Suggestions for students are:(1)Strengthen the understanding of basic concepts;(2)Improve mathematical reading ability;(3)Strengthen hands-on operation ability;(4)Develop good study habits.
