| Patriotic education is an important part of geographical literacy,and a crucial aspect of developing cultural knowledge for students studying the vast and profound culture of China.With the establishment of the new task of "cultivating morality and promoting education" and the reform of the curriculum for ordinary high schools,it is every teacher’s important duty to cultivate students’ patriotic education during the teaching process.This article conducts theoretical and practical research on the cultivation of patriotic education in high school geography teaching,exploring better integration of socialist core values in the teaching process.By giving students the correct value orientation,enhancing their patriotic feelings and achieving the sublimation of their geographical literacy and humanistic spirit,students can become responsible and well-rounded new generation of the era,truly reflecting the role and value of high school geography courses in cultivating and developing students.This article mainly adopts research methods such as literature research,content analysis,questionnaire survey,interview method,and Delphi method.It reviews the references,defines the concept of patriotic education,sorts out the theoretical basis of this article,and investigates the current status of cultivating patriotic education in high school geography teaching.Based on the problems discovered in the investigation,the author has given specific suggestions for high school geography teaching based on patriotic education by combining practical teaching exploration.In addition,this study systematically analyzes and sorts out the contents reflecting patriotic education in the compulsory textbook for high school geography,and shares teaching cases,providing better reference for frontline teachers.Through practice,it has been proved that the suggestions proposed by this article,such as combining local knowledge to excavate the educational value in geography textbooks,and integrating various teaching methods,can effectively enhance students’ classroom learning enthusiasm and better cultivate their patriotic education,offering certain method guidance and content reference for geography teachers to integrate patriotic education into the teaching process.This article aims to contribute to the comprehensive development of patriotic education and to accelerate the implementation of patriotic education in the geography subject,promoting students’ overall development. |
