The report of the Party’s 20th Congress clearly pointed out that by 2035,China will enter the forefront of innovative countries,and the source of national science and technology innovation lies in the cultivation of talents.Talent cultivation relies on education and should be placed in the strategic position of priority development,and the quality of education should be comprehensively improved,focusing on the cultivation of students’innovative consciousness and innovation ability,and promoting students’deep learning.However,in the actual teaching process,there are still phenomena such as"one word teaching",and students’learning is still mechanical,and students’innovative thinking is suppressed,and innovation ability is difficult to develop.Therefore,we must change the traditional teaching methods,only in this way,basic education can really return to the cultivation of innovative talents.For this purpose,the state has issued a series of policy documents,promoted educational reform,advocated exploration of new teaching methods,and changed students’learning methods.Among them,in 2019,the Ministry of Education issued the"Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Reform of Cultivating People in General Senior High Schools in the New Era"[1],which pointed out that situational teaching and project-based teaching should be paid attention to.Project-based teaching is based on real situations,setting driving project tasks,students cooperate in groups to explore learning of course projects,complete projects,show results(physical objects,words,pictures,etc.),and finally promote students’deep learning.During the completion process of the project,students obtain knowledge and acquire corresponding abilities,which are highly compatible with the talent cultivation goals proposed by the new era.This research takes project-based teaching as a means,aiming to cultivate students’innovative consciousness and innovation ability,and promote students’deep learning.Using literature analysis,the connotation of deep learning,the current research status of project-based teaching at home and abroad,the application advantages and basic design elements of project-based teaching are systematically combed and summarized.Questionnaire survey was used to investigate the implementation status of project-based teaching in chemical classroom.On this basis,the feasibility of applying project-based teaching to high school chemistry classroom was analyzed,a framework of project-based teaching method targeting deep learning was constructed in high school chemistry teaching,and the teaching design and practice research were carried out with the examples of"Chemistry of Lu Ling Fine Wine"and"Virus’s Natural Enemy-Chlorine Disinfectant".Action research was used to adopt different teaching modes in control class and experimental class.Through classroom observation,the classroom atmosphere,student classroom participation in two classes were observed,and process evaluation and paper-and-pencil tests were used to test and evaluate students’deep learning ability.It was found that(1)project-based teaching can stimulate students’interest in learning and classroom participation;(2)project-based teaching can improve students’comprehensive quality,enhance students’innovation ability and innovation consciousness,and promote the cultivation of students’core literacy;(3)project-based teaching can promote students’deep learning.
