| Red tape in schools is hidden in various forms throughout the daily work of teachers, and its drawbacks are obvious: it not only increases the workload of teachers, causing fatigue and distracting from their teaching focus, but also disrupts the normal order of educational work.Throughout history, the mission of teachers has always been to educate and develop students, improve professional skills, and enhance teaching abilities to better achieve the goal of cultivating comprehensive talent. However,in reality, while teachers are responsible for providing high-level,high-quality teaching for students, they are also burdened with various red tape, and their limited energy is stretched to the limit. They are in a contradictory and self-doubting state of being "caught in the middle" between competing pressures, enduring the dual burden of physical and psychological stress. This burden is an important reason for teacher emotional exhaustion and is also the main driving force behind teacher burnout. The work-family balance of teachers,as a supportive resource factor, may alleviate teacher fatigue. This study collected data by interviewing 10 primary and secondary school teachers in H province and conducting a questionnaire survey of 2446 primary and secondary school teachers in H province.Based on descriptive statistical analysis, difference analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and moderation effect testing of the data obtained, the research conclusions are as follows:(1)Red tape in schools in the county mainly focuses on administrative affairs, training, and professional title evaluations, and there are differences in the perception of red tape among different teachers;(2)The level of red tape on campuses in the county is generally high, the level of work-family balance among teachers is low,and the level of occupational burnout is medium;(3)There are significant differences in the perception of red tape,work-family balance, and occupational burnout among teachers in the county in terms of background factors;(4)There are significant differences in the perception of red tape and occupational burnout among teachers with different levels of work-family balance;(5)There is a significant positive correlation between red tape on campuses in the county and teacher occupational burnout, and a significant negative correlation between red tape and work-family balance;there is a significant negative correlation between work-family balance and teacher occupational burnout in the county.(6)The perception of red tape and work-family balance of teachers in the county have a significant predictive effect on occupational burnout. The perception of red tape has a significant positive predictive effect on occupational burnout, and work-family balance has a significant negative predictive effect on occupational burnout;(7)Work-family balance plays a moderating role in the impact of red tape on teacher occupational burnout and can negatively moderate the impact of red tape on occupational burnout.Based on these findings, this study proposes two recommendations: On the one hand, through the actual front-line teachers, the rational formulation of various systems to optimize the workflow, grasp the scale of supervision, guide teachers to establish the correct concept and other ways to reduce formalism, back to the teacher’s nurturing of people; On the other hand,a joint effort between the school and the family can provide resource support through the development of reasonable strategies for teacher work time management, the cultivation of "reductionist thinking" among school leaders, the provision of necessary support and help from teachers’ families, and the setting of phased goals for teachers themselves. |
