The traditional sub-curricular system focuses on the logic and specialisation of teaching,and aims to help students build a solid foundation of subject knowledge when studying a single subject.However,in the era of knowledge economy,the development trend of science and technology is becoming highly integrated,cross-disciplinary disciplines are emerging,the clear-cut curriculum barriers are gradually fading,and higher requirements are being placed on the cultivation of talents,and monolithic knowledge learning can no longer meet the current needs of society.In this context,the relevant policies have also changed.The Ministry of Education’s Compulsory Education Arts Curriculum Standards,promulgated in 2022,explicitly propose "highlighting curriculum integration",which is an important element of the curriculum concept in the new arts standards.As a teaching concept with a horizontal and systematic mindset,curriculum integration can make up for the neglected systemic and interrelated nature of knowledge in sub-disciplinary teaching,and cultivate comprehensive talents according to the needs of society.Therefore,the main objective of this study is to study the design of teaching unit themes in junior high school art,and to explore the design of teaching unit themes in junior high school art under the concept of curriculum integration.The study is mainly concerned with three core issues: firstly,the "cause" of the application of the concept of curriculum integration to the teaching of unit themes in junior high school art;secondly,the "method" of the application of the concept of curriculum integration to the design of unit themes in junior high school art;and thirdly,the "effect" of the application of the concept of curriculum integration to the practice of unit themes in junior high school art.The third is the "result" of applying the concept of curriculum unification to the practice of teaching unit themes in junior high school art.Firstly,we reviewed a lot of relevant literature to sort out the background and theoretical support of the study.Secondly,the use of educational internship opportunities,the use of questionnaires,interviews,listening and learning methods to understand the current situation of art teaching in the second year of Shihe Middle School.From the actual problem,looking for the curriculum unification concept and art unit theme teaching fit,research teaching design principles and teaching content.Again,combined with the principles of teaching design,explore the elements of curriculum integration can be combined,through the testing of teaching practice sessions,summarize the practical effect of the application of curriculum integration in junior art unit theme teaching,analysis of the problems that arise in the teaching process,and put forward the corresponding improvement measures.Based on the analysis of the above core issues,the concept of curriculum integration is integrated into each lesson of the unit theme and is reflected in the appropriate teaching sessions,enriching the teaching content,strengthening the links between subjects and breaking down disciplinary boundaries.It not only increases students’ interest in the art classroom,but also facilitates the transformation of students’ thinking patterns into systematic thinking,enabling them to develop their personal qualities in a holistic manner,and providing a reference case for innovative attempts to design art teaching in junior high school...
