The promulgation of the Compulsory Education Curriculum Program(2022 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as the "New Program")and the Curriculum Standards for Ethics and the Rule of Law in Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as the "New Curriculum")signifies that the cultivation of core literacy requirements are to be the new standards signify that the cultivation requirements of core literacy are to be implemented into the teaching of morality and rule of law in junior middle schools.Case teaching is one of the feasible ways to implement the core literacy in the morality and rule of law curriculum.Nowadays,when the combination of theory and examples is gradually emphasized,the organic combination of theoretical learning and vivid life examples in the morality and rule of law curriculum can help the core literacy of the curriculum to take shape in the case teaching practice.Therefore,it is the core value and key significance of this study to examine and analyze the current situation of the application of the case teaching method in the teaching of moral and rule of law in junior middle school with the guidance of core literacy,to seek the deciphering countermeasures of the existing main problems,and to provide important references for the effective application of the case teaching method in the teaching of moral and rule of law in junior middle school in the context of the new curriculum.The thesis is divided into three parts.The first part of the article will outline the theoretical issues related to the case study method.Firstly,the two core concepts of "case teaching method" and "case teaching method of morality and rule of law class in junior middle school" are explained,and the main features of case teaching method of morality and rule of law class in junior middle school,such as practicality,are elaborated;secondly,the theoretical basis of applying case teaching method in the context of the new curriculum is clarified.Secondly,the theoretical bases of the case teaching method in the context of the new curriculum are explained,namely,constructivist learning theory,humanistic learning theory,and life education theory;finally,the feasibility and value of the case teaching method are explained on the basis of the new requirements of the new curriculum.The second part of the article examines and analyzes the current situation of the application of the case teaching method in the teaching of morality and the rule of law in junior middle schools.Questionnaires,interviews and classroom observations are used to investigate the current application of case teaching in morality and rule of law classrooms,and to objectively explain the significant results and main problems of the application of case teaching method in junior middle school morality and rule of law teaching,which focus on the development of teaching objectives,the selection of case contents,the design of case problems and the analysis and discussion of cases.At the same time,we analyze the causes of the existing problems,mainly including the failure to update the case teaching concept,the ability to carry out case teaching and the lack of integration of case teaching resources.The third part of the article is to propose effective strategies and corresponding specific application cases for the problems in the application of case teaching method in teaching morality and rule of law in junior middle school.The article presents the principles that must be adhered to when applying the method in specific teaching practice: the principle of direction,the principle of subjectivity and the principle of life.At the same time,it also puts forward the appropriate problem-solving application improvement strategies,including teaching goal setting strategies,case content selection strategies,case problem design strategies,and case analysis and discussion strategies. |
