Homework management is an educational activity in which families and schools cooperate together to give full play to the educational function of homework and promote students’ all-round development,and implement management behavior in the process of students’ completing homework.The Family Education Promotion Law of People’s Republic of China(PRC),which came into effect on January 1st,2022,clearly stipulates "establishing and improving the social cooperative education mechanism of family schools".In 2021,the Notice on Strengthening Homework Management in Compulsory Education Schools and the Opinions on Further Reducing Students’ Homework Burden and Off-campus Training Burden clearly stipulated that the total amount and duration of homework should be reduced in an all-round way,so as to reduce students’ excessive homework burden,guide parents to establish a correct educational concept,further clarify the responsibility of home-school education,form a concerted effort to educate people,and resolutely reverse some outstanding problems such as excessive homework,low quality and functional alienation.As far as homework management of junior high school students is concerned,it is of great significance for home-school cooperation to participate in homework management of junior high school students to effectively promote their all-round healthy growth and improve the quality of school education and teaching.School and family are the two main environments for students’ growth and development.The consistent ideas,actions and influence of both sides can be continuously superimposed and accumulated,and the joint efforts of educating people can be condensed.Schools play a leading role in standardizing the management of education and teaching and improving the quality of homework.Parents,as one of the subjects of homework management,should be integrated into the homework management system,and perform the main responsibilities of family education while playing the leading role of schools.Both sides should jointly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of homework management on the basis of maintaining mutual trust,consistent goals,shared resources and shared responsibilities.Therefore,this study takes this as a breakthrough point to analyze the current situation,problems and reasons of junior high school students’ homework management from the perspective of school-school cooperation,with the intention of exploring effective strategies to promote the reform of junior high school students’ homework management through home-school cooperation.Under the guidance of overlapping influence theory and collaborative governance theory,this study comprehensively uses qualitative and quantitative research methods,focusing on four dimensions: cognition and attitude of homework management,management of homework process,communication and exchange of homework management,and construction of guarantee mechanism for homework management.By using self-made questionnaires and interview outlines,teachers,students and parents in three junior high schools in H city were investigated and interviewed respectively,revealing that under the background of the continuous deepening of "double reduction" policy and the deepening of strengthening homework management,What is the degree and effect of cooperation? What development difficulties still exist at present? It is found that there is still a lack of consistency between home and school in the homework management of junior middle school students;The roles of home and school are ambiguous;The lack of effective two-way communication channels between home and school and the imperfect cooperation mechanism of homework management.In order to further strengthen the homework management of junior high school students,the study aims to guide home and school to establish a common goal of cooperative participation in the homework management of junior high school students;Cohesion of home-school cooperation to participate in junior high school students’ homework management;Improve the communication mode of home-school cooperation in junior high school students’ homework management;Improve the cooperation mechanism of home-school cooperation in junior high school students’ homework management and put forward optimization countermeasures from four aspects.Specifically,both home and school should first maintain a cooperative relationship of equality and mutual trust and unify the goal of homework management of "cooperative education",which is a prerequisite for home-school cooperation in homework management.Secondly,under the premise of clarifying the boundary of home-school cooperation in homework management,parents should be guided to face up to their responsibilities,and the self-awareness of homework management of junior high school students should be stimulated emphatically.Thirdly,we should strengthen communication planning and design,create a democratic communication atmosphere,and give play to the effectiveness of communication platform to improve the communication mode of homework management.Finally,we should improve the standard of homework management from the system level,empower both home and school to participate in homework management through the joint training mechanism of parents and teachers,and explore the supervision and evaluation mechanism to promote the implementation,adjustment and optimization of homework management.The strategies of homework management for junior middle school students summarized and refined by this research have certain value,which can provide reference for more junior middle school joint family education forces to carry out homework management reform.
