The intellectual vigor of researchers is a powerful and influential stimulus for a nation and its citizens,and it is also the essential education of our contemporary age.Today,we must continue to foster the spirit of scientists on the long road to building a world power in science and technology.Recently,a fresh subject has arisen to energetically foster and nurture the scientific enthusiasm of pupils in fundamental schooling.As an important stage of human growth,historical facts of Junior High School have a unique educational value,which can effectively cultivate students’ scientific spirit,seek truth,innovation and rationality,as well as educate students’ humanistic literacy and values,what is important for the cultivation of future scientists.This article provides a detailed analysis of research literature,materials and works related to the spirit of scientists.In the first place,it marks out concept and connotation of the mind of scientists.Believing that history discipline teachers,who embody a great deal of the scientific spirit,should foster students’ thinking methods and innovation skills through history courses,this is based on the spirit of history discipline and their own practice.This paper is comprised of four sections: the introduction,conclusion,outlook,and prospect.The initial chapter concentrates on stimulating the scientific spirit of both the student and the scientific spirit.The spirit of scientists includes patriotism,seeking truth,innovation,collaboration,and education.In junior high school history,cultivating students’ spirit of scientists is in line with the requirements of curriculum standards and the educational value of history.In the second part,through a questionnaire aimed at middle school students,we found out what shortcomings exist in cultivating the scientific spirit in middle school history lessons,and then explored the core of the problem.In Chapter 3,this article proposes through practice a number of targeted suggestions on how to cultivate the mind of scientists in the history discipline,including,but not limited to: proposals for strategies for cultivating the mind of scientists at multiple levels,such as teaching,teachers,classrooms,and evaluation.The author combined this chapter to make a teaching design by "Scientific and Cultural Achievements after the founding of the People’s Republic" in the eighth grade history book II,as a case study to create a curriculum based on cultivation strategies.This teaching design includes three aspects: pre class analysis,classroom teaching links,and post class reflection. |
