The Effect Of Social Theme Electronic Picture Book Teaching On Children’s Focus Behavior In Classroom

The focus behavior of children in class is the external behavior that children focus on listening to the teacher carefully in class.The attention behavior of children in class needs to be cultivated through effective educational means.In children’s daily learning and life,electronic picture books are important situational stimuli that they often come into contact with,and electronic picture books themselves may have an impact on children’s social behavior.In this study,the teaching of electronic picture books refers to that kindergarten teachers make vivid and intuitive teaching videos about the concentration training of paper picture books,so that children can watch and learn social behaviors.At present,although Chinese scholars have carried out a certain theoretical discussion on children’s attention,there is a relative lack of experimental research on how to improve children’s attention,and few in-depth discussion on the influencing factors of children’s attention.In view of this,the purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of electronic picture book teaching on children’s attention and its guidance strategies,so as to provide empirical evidence for the cultivation of children’s attention in real classroom situations.In February 2023,148 children in kindergartens in Aksu,Xinjiang were selected as subjects by means of random cluster sampling.Social themed electronic picture books were used as teaching materials.Based on the actual situation of children’s concentration,the classroom concentration behavior of children was observed and measured by time sampling after two months of electronic picture book teaching.The results showed that:(1)Children in the experimental group who received social themed e-picture book teaching had a significant effect on improving their classroom attention behavior,while those in the control group who did not receive social themed e-picture book teaching had no significant effect on improving their attention.(2)There is a significant age difference in children’s attention,and their attention behavior in class gradually increases with the growth of age;(3)Girls’ concentration behavior in class is significantly better than boys’.This paper has obtained the following educational enlightenment: First,educators should choose social theme electronic picture book materials,create a good picture book teaching situation,in order to improve children’s attention behavior;Secondly,educators should pay special attention to the cultivation of young children’s concentration.Thirdly,educators should take infant boys as the target group of concentration cultivation in the context of social-themed e-picture books.
