| Delay of gratification is a kind of less temptation to abandon the desire to gain a longer-term profit goal by restraining one's own desires.As a positive personality variable,the child's delayed satisfaction ability has a positive effect on its future interaction with peers,teachers,and the ability to complete tasks independently,and this ability will be accompanied throughout the life process.Teachers and parents should actively cooperate.To improve the attention to the ability of children to delay satisfaction.Picture books are a favorite reading material for young children,and their theme activities come in many forms.This study carried out a series of rich and valuable thematic activities around the picture book in order to promote the ability of the middle school children to delay the satisfaction.The experiment used the middle school children in a public kindergarten in Tianjin as the research object,and randomly selected two middle classes with homogeneity as the experimental group and the control group.the number of which was 32.The experimental group carried out the theme activities of the picture book,and the control group only put the picture book for regular teaching.The experimental results showed that after the six-week picture book theme activity,there was no significant change in the control group,and the delay satisfaction ability of the experimental group was significantly improved,indicating that the theme activity of the picture book can effectively promote the delay ability of the middle school children.This study proposes the following educational proposals:the content of the theme activities of the picture book is diversified;the teaching plan is meticulous,and the theme activities of the picture book that meet the child development level are actively created;Kindergartens can carry out the theme activities of picture books,form their own theme activity lesson library,and improve the children's abilities. |
