| Research Objectives: In 2022,the Ministry of Education issued the Curriculum Standards for Physical Education and Health in Compulsory Education(2022),emphasizing the cultivation of students’ core qualities and promoting their physical and mental health,physical strength and all-round development.Under the background of the new curriculum standard reform,the large unit teaching aiming at the development of physical education core accomplishment is an important measure to develop high quality physical education and promote the all-round development of students.In the past volleyball course teaching,teachers tend to teach a single technical movement and ignore the combination of teaching and competition of multiple technical movements,resulting in students’ poor learning effect and decreased interest in learning.Therefore,this study carried out a research on the design and application of volleyball large unit teaching for junior high school students,to explore the differences between junior high school volleyball large unit teaching and junior high school students’ health behaviors,sports morality,volleyball physical fitness and special sports skills.Research methods: This paper adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire,experiment and mathematical statistics to investigate 80 children in 2 classes of 12 Grade 1 junior high school affiliated to Southwest University of Chongqing Beibei District.There are 40 children in the experimental class who are taught in the large unit volleyball course and the control class who are taught in the traditional volleyball course.After 18 weeks of teaching intervention in different courses,twice a week,45 minutes after each class: Volleyball physical fitness test items include 36-meter run,run-up touch height,standing long jump,pull-up girls adopt oblique pull-up.Physical fitness test indicators refer to the National Standards for Physical Exercise(2013Revised version),National Standards for Students’ Physique and Health(2014 Revised version)and the content of physical education examination.The special sports skills test items include preparation posture and basic steps,front two-handed overhand passing,front two-handed cushion,front underhand serving and competition.The special sports skills test indicators refer to the volleyball assessment items and compulsory education stage of the book "Physical Education and Health"(People’s Education Press)textbook,using the questionnaire star APP to investigate the physical character of junior high school students.The Sports Morality Questionnaire,compiled by Tang Lijun et al in2019,was used to evaluate the sports morality level of junior middle school students.The questionnaire Star APP was used to evaluate the health behavior of junior middle school students.The mature questionnaire Health Behavior Evaluation Questionnaire of scholar Xu Dian was used to evaluate the health behavior level of junior middle school studentsResearch results:(1)Physical strength of volleyball1.After the experiment,the junior students in the experimental class and the control class have significant differences in the total scores of 36-meter running,run-up and standing long jump(P<0.05),only pull-ups had no significant difference in total scores(P>0.01).2.In the comparison before and after the experiment,there are significant differences between the experimental class and the control class in the total scores of36-meter run,run-up touch height,standing long jump and pull-up(P<0.01).(2)Special motor skills1.The junior students of the experimental class and the control class have significant differences in preparation posture and basic steps,front-handed cushion,front-handed overhand pass,front-handed underhand serve,and total score of the game(P<0.05).2.In the comparison before and after the experiment,there were significant differences between the experimental class and the control class in preparation posture and basic steps,front-handed cushion,front-handed overhand pass,front-handed underhand serve,and total score of the game(P<0.01).(3)Sports morality1.After the experiment,the junior students in the experimental class and the control class have significant differences in sportsmanship,sports character and sports moral behavior scores(P< 0.01).2.In the comparison before and after the experiment,the junior high school students in the experimental class had significant differences in sportsmanship,sports character,and sports ethical behavior scores(P<0.01).There was no statistical difference in sports spirit,sports character and sports moral behavior scores of junior middle school students in the control class(P>0.05).(4)Health behavior1.After the experiment,the junior students in the experimental class and the control class have significant differences in the formation of physical exercise consciousness,the formation of physical health behavior,the mastery and application of health knowledge,emotional regulation,and the total score of environmental adaptation(P<0.01).2.In the comparison before and after the experiment,the junior middle school students in the experimental class had significant differences in the formation of physical exercise consciousness,the formation of physical health behavior,the mastery and application of health knowledge,emotional regulation and environmental adaptation scores(P<0.01).At the same time,the junior middle school students in the control class have significant differences in the formation of physical exercise consciousness,the formation of physical health behavior,the mastery and application of health knowledge,emotional regulation,and the total score of environmental adaptation(P<0.05).Research conclusion:(1)Under the guidance of sports core literacy,this study constructs a large-unit volleyball teaching course for junior middle school students,which completely covers the teaching contents of special sports skills,physical fitness,sports morality and healthy behavior,and has good content validity.(2)The experimental results confirm that,after 18 class hours of experimental intervention,compared with traditional physical education,volleyball teaching in large units can significantly improve students’ physical ability,special sports skills,health behavior and sports morality,which means that volleyball teaching in large units has a positive promoting role in improving junior middle school students’ core physical literacy. |
