With the official release of the General High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017Edition),core literacy in biology has become the focus of educational researchers.In order to better practice the curriculum standards,biology educators,especially front-line teachers,should focus on how to do a good job of teaching biology based on core literacy.Most scholars have found that "unit teaching design" focuses on the use of subject concepts and the organic integration of scattered knowledge points through context creation,which can improve the disadvantages of traditional classroom teaching of knowledge "fragmentation" and is an effective way to implement core literacy.In view of this,the author tries to apply the unit teaching design to high school biology teaching to provide reference for front-line teachers.The main contents of this study include:(1)the status of research on unit teaching design at home and abroad,and the connotation of "unit" and "unit teaching design" and their theoretical basis.(2)A questionnaire survey was conducted for first-line high school biology teachers to fully understand the current situation of unit teaching design in high school biology classrooms.(3)Based on the results of the theoretical study and the questionnaire survey,we constructed a unit teaching design process based on core literacy,and carried out case design and practical teaching with the theme of "material input and output of cells".(4)Organize experimental classes and control classes to conduct educational experiments and test students' core literacy level changes and unit learning outcomes by analyzing unit test scores,unit mind map assignments,and student interviews.Based on this study,the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The process of unit teaching design is constructed,which provides a reference for the implementation of unit teaching.(2)The unit instructional design helps develop core subject matter literacy;(3)The design of the unit helps students construct a conceptual system;...
