The first chapter explains and discusses the origins and current state of flower-drum opera in Hunan Province,as well as its singing tunes and accompaniment art.It provides a solid theoretical foundation for the following course practice.and clarifies the significance of its implementation in junior high school.In the second chapter,taking Kaifu No.1 Middle School in Changsha,Hunan Province as an example,with the use of questionnaires among students and interviews and researches among teachers,the author comprehends teacher and students’ attitude toward Hunan flower-drum opera,finds out the problems of introducing Hunan flower-drum opera to junior high school.The third chapter explores and practices the specific classroom teaching of Hunan flower-drum opera,in which the author also makes presuppositions of the teaching objectives,teaching process,teaching methods,and teaching evaluation.Additionally,the author creates detailed teaching plans and practices them,reflecting on the effect of classroom teaching practice.The fourth chapter attempts to make feasible recommendations for teachers,class,schools and students,such as strengthening teachers’ professional learning,enriching classroom teaching design,carrying out related campus activities,carrying out related social practice activities,developing school-based teaching materials,and increasing publicity.Hunan flower-drum opera is a type of drama with distinctive Hunan characteristics that is also a valuable intangible cultural heritage in China.Hunan flower-drum opera is distinguished not only by its distinctive singing and accompaniment,but also by educational values such as aesthetic and moral education.Many operas have entered the middle school music class since the implementation of the "Opera on Campus" activity.However,as a traditional local opera,Hunan flower-drum opera poses a challenge to both teachers and students.In this condition,the author analyzes appropriate methods to improve students’ learning and enrich their experience of Hunan flower-drum opera in junior high school music classes,in the hope of passing down and developing Hunan flower-drum opera in the junior high school.
