The Evolution Of Biological College Entrance Examination Test Questions Under The Guidance Of New And Old Curriculum Standards And Its Enlightenment To Teaching

Abstract/Summary:
With the continuous development of the national basic education curriculum reform in an in-depth and scientific direction,the concept,form and content of the college entrance examination,as the most powerful teaching evaluation method,are also constantly changing.The "General High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" for the first time puts forward the core literacy of the subject,and formulates academic quality standards,emphasizing that future examination enrollment and college entrance examination propositions should be guided by the development of core literacy.Therefore,the implementation and assessment of the formation and development of students’ core academic literacy has become the core task of the college entrance examination proposition.The specific analysis of biology high examination questions can help teachers grasp the examination characteristics of test questions,promote the reform of biology curriculum design and education and teaching work based on core literacy,and fully reflect the educational function of biology teaching.In this study,the current situation of experimental research in the biology college entrance examination and biology college entrance examination in the past 10 years was summarized by bibliometric method,and on this basis,the experimental questions of the biology college entrance examination in the national volume II.from 2012 to 2022 were used as the research object,and the changes in the proportion of scores,question types,question types,examination directions,examination content and ability literacy of the experimental questions in the biology college entrance examination in the five years before and after the promulgation of the new course standard were compared and analyzed,and the examination characteristics of experimental test questions since the promulgation of the new course standard were summarized.Based on the results of the test question analysis,the representative biology college entrance examination experimental questions since the promulgation of the new curriculum standard were selected,and in the form of case analysis,relevant teaching suggestions were put forward around the cultivation of core literacy to enlighten teaching practice.The results of this paper are:(1)the proportion of points increased from an average of 35% before the promulgation of the new curriculum standard to an average of 47% after the promulgation of the new curriculum standard;(2)In terms of question types,the proportion of multiple-choice questions focusing on scientific experimental knowledge of textbooks gradually decreased,and the proportion of non-multiple-choice questions focusing on students’ independent answers to experimental questions increased significantly;(3)In terms of test question types,the proportion of classic experimental and confirmatory experimental questions in textbooks has decreased,and the inquiry-based experimental questions to test and cultivate students’ scientific thinking and scientific inquiry literacy have increased significantly,with the average proportion increasing from 38% before the promulgation of the new curriculum standard to 64% after the promulgation;(4)In the direction of examination,the examination of experimental principles and experimental conclusions accounts for the largest proportion,and the examination directions are combined with each other,and the examination of core literacy is infiltrated in the process of pursuing the correct experimental conclusion;(5)In terms of examination content,the "Molecules and Cells" module focuses on cell metabolism(photosynthesis and respiration),the "Genetics and Evolution" module focuses on the basic laws of heredity,the "Homeostasis and Environment" module focuses on the regulation of animal life activities and plant hormone regulation,and the elective module focuses on the cultivation of microorganisms and modern biotechnology;(6)In terms of ability literacy,since the promulgation of the new curriculum standard,the proportion of examination of life concept has been the highest,the proportion of examination of social responsibility literacy has increased year by year,and scientific inquiry and scientific thinking literacy as the key to solving experimental test questions have not changed significantly,which is generally reflected in the integration of various literacy dimensions,focusing on the core literacy of biology to cultivate and test students’ necessary character and key abilities.Based on the analysis results of the test questions,it can be seen that the examination characteristics of the experimental questions of the biology college entrance examination since the promulgation of the new course standard are generally as follows: life concept literacy is the propositional support of the experimental questions;Scientific inquiry literacy is the propositional subject of experimental questions;Scientific thinking literacy is the key to solving experimental questions;Social responsibility literacy attaches importance to development and application.Based on the examination characteristics of the experimental questions of the biology college entrance examination,combined with the case analysis of representative experimental questions,and focusing on the cultivation of core literacy,in the process of teaching and practice of biology experiments,we should pay attention to:(1)experimental penetration of concepts and conceptual connection;(2)Integrate informed intentions and actions,and exercise inquiring thoughts;(3)Optimize experimental teaching and inspire the use of thinking;(4)Attach importance to STS education and cultivate social responsibility;(5)Promote traditional culture and strengthen cultural self-confidence;(6)Establish the concept of labor in connection with production and life.
