Biology Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as the “New Curriculum Standards”)has been issued along with the new round of the curriculum reform,which provides the basis for the proposition of biology paper in the National College Entrance Examination(hereinafter referred to as the "Gaokao").As a large-scale selective examination,Gaokao plays an important role in selecting high quality students,cultivating talents and guiding teaching.How to reflect the core literacy of biology in Gaokao? What are the similarities and differences in the examination of the core literacy of biology in different types of Gaokao papers? Therefore,it is very important to study the Gaokao papers based on the core literacy of biology.The study clarifies the connotation of life concept,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry and social responsibility and elaborates the reference system for evaluation of biological core literacy level by the study of domestic and foreign studies related to core literacy and the New Curriculum Standards by using the research methods of literature review,statistical analysis,comparative analysis,case analysis.On this basis,take the 2020 National Volume ? Science Integrated biology section(hereinafter referred to as the "national?volume"),biology paper for academic proficiency test of Beijing(hereinafter referred to as the "Beijing volume"),biology paper for academic proficiency test of Shandong province(hereinafter referred to as the "new college entrance examination?volume")as the research object,the study clarifies the specific dimensions and academic quality level of biology core literacy examined in each biology exam questions and summarizes the characteristics of biology core literacy examined in three sets of Gaokao papers.The results show that there are similarities and differences in the examination of the core literacy of biology in national ? volume,Beijing volume and new college entrance examination volume I.The commonness of the three sets of Gaokao papers are as follows: The core literacy is the purpose of the test,the content of the test is the big concept,the core literacy is examined in many aspects,and questions is in rich context.The difference is that the national?volume focuses on the foundation and the concept of life and scientific inquiry,and the Beijing volume focuses on the frontier of science and technology and the concept of life and scientific thinking,while the new college entrance examination I volume is informative and emphasizes on the life concept.The study provides reference for teachers and students to master the proposition intention of biology examination questions in Gaokao.Training suggestions and proposition strategies are proposed based on the results of the study and the analysis of typical cases,which provides reference for middle school teachers to cultivate students' core literacy of biology in classroom teaching,and basis for secondary school educators to set questions pointing to core literacy of biology in teaching tests.Finally the promotion of teaching through evaluation and the positive role of Gaokao are realized.
