The Influence Of Digital Economy On Employment Structure Of Our Country

In conducting an empirical analysis of the digital economy impact on employment structure,often need to measure the digital economy,but due to the lack of authoritative definition of the digital economy measure and consistent estimates caliber,result in unable to accurately measure the digital economy,also is unable to accurately judge the real implications of the digital economy to our country employment structure.On May 27,2021,the National Bureau of Statistics released and implementation of the digital economy and its core industry statistical classification(2021)"(hereinafter referred to as" classification of digital economy),defines the meaning of digital economy,and to determine the range of the digital economy accounting,provides a unified digital economy in our country accounting scope of statistical standards,caliber,and comparable.Network economy in recent years with the rapid development of digital information technology and application of digital economy in promoting the social progress at the same time also has a far-reaching influence on employment,so how to measure the digital economy and the digital economy on employment structure what effect this two parts has become the focus of academia and relevant government departments.In terms of research methods,this paper first introduces theories related to the impact of digital economy on employment structure by theoretical methods.Then,according to the latest Digital Economy Classification released by the National Bureau of Statistics,it uses entropy method to calculate the digital economy development index of 30 Provinces and cities in China(excluding Tibet)from 2010 to 2019.The dual fixed effect model and intermediary effect test model are used to empirically test the influence of digital economy and the core leading industry of digital economy on employment structure.The regression results of the measurement model show that the noteworthy level of digital economy having a remarkable affect on China’s employment structure is 1%,that is,the development of digital economy remarkable improve the share of employment in services,then bring employment structure into higher level.Digital product manufacturing,one of the core leading industries of digital economy,has a positive impact on employment structure,but the impact is not significant.The other two core leading industries of digital economy,digital technology application industry and digital factor driving industry,have significant impact on employment structure,that is,the development of digital technology application industry and digital element drive industry can bring the number of service’s employment into a higher level,thus promoting the optimization of employment structure.The mediating effect test results show that in the process of digital economy affecting employment structure,the modernization of the employment structure plays a noteworthy mediating in this regard,that is,the development of digital economy therefore contributes to the modernization of the employment structure,with optimal impact on employment.In view of the above conclusions,this paper proposes to further develop the digital economy,especially the digital technology application industry and digital elements driving industry of the core leading industry of digital economy.In the future,we should focus on supporting the development of industries under these two core leading industries.At the same time,regional heterogeneity of digital economy should be optimized to reduce the gap between eastern and western digital economies.In addition,it is necessary to dynamically improve the introduction of the current classification norm about digital economy,then follow current research on the definition and scope of the global digital economy in a timely manner,further improve China’s digital economy statistical standards,and maintain effective connection with the international community.
