Since the 21 st century,with the development of the economy,education has played an important role in national development.Cultivating students’ innovative spirit has become a key focus of educational reform.Research based learning emphasizes student-centered learning,which enhances students’ problem-solving abilities and cultivates their innovative spirit and practical abilities through self-directed learning.Under the guidance of the "History Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022)",through the analysis of the curriculum standards and learning situation,it was found that the learning method of research-based learning can be applied not only to high school history teaching,but also to middle school stage.According to the disciplinary characteristics of junior high school history,conducting historical research-based learning in junior high school should follow the principles of openness,foundation,encouragement and innovative,with the basic forms being classroom problem-based research-based learning and project-based research-based learning.Teachers use different teaching strategies in different forms.Take the Establishment of the Han Dynasty and “the Rule of Wen and Jing” and Great Changes in the Living Environment as examples to design teaching and reflect on the development of historical research learning in junior high school combined with the teaching process.In the process of applying research-based learning,it is necessary to change teachers’ concepts,improve the evaluation system,and closely integrate research-based learning with the goals of junior high school history teaching,so as to enable students to change their traditional learning methods and ensure their subjectivity.
