Public health safety is related to the health and safety of every citizen and has always been a concern.Through a review of domestic and foreign research on public health safety education,we found that the current public health safety education is mainly concentrated in higher education and vocational schools, and the integration of public health safety education with primary and secondary school subjects is mainly at the high school biology stage. In order to explore how to effectively carry out public health and safety education in junior high school biology teaching, the dissertation used literature method, questionnaire survey method, educational experiment method, statistical analysis method and other research methods to carry out a study on the penetration of public health and safety education in junior high school biology teaching.Firstly, the literature method is used to sort out the current status of research on public health and safety education at home and abroad, and on the basis of clarifying the connotation of public health, public health safety and public health safety education, the theoretical basis for infiltrating public health and safety education in junior high school biology teaching is proposed, and five ways of infiltrating public health and safety education in junior high school biology teaching are constructed: using textbooks to consolidate the knowledge base;carrying out Thematic activities to enhance the enthusiasm;practical training to enhance the ability and quality;learning by doing, organizing games and competitions;and holding special lectures to improve the infiltration effect.Secondly, with the five ways of infiltrating public health and safety education as the independent variables and the changes in knowledge, behavior and attitude of junior high school students in public health and safety education as the dependent variables,an experiment of infiltrating public health and safety education in junior high school biology teaching was conducted:(1)two classes with roughly the same situation in a middle school in Ganzhou City were selected as the experimental and control groups, with a total of 91 students, and the questionnaire method was used to obtain pre and post measurement data on the knowledge, behavior, and attitude of the study subjects in public health and safety education;(2)based on the public health and safety knowledge, attitude, and behavior of the students before the experiment, the seventh grade biology textbook(the next book)was screened for the infiltration of public health and safety(3)Using the five pathways,we implemented a semester of public health and safety education in the junior high school biology teaching in the experimental class;(4)At the end of the semester, data on public health and safety awareness, attitudes, and behaviors of the experimental and control groups were counted to analyze the results of the educational experiment. The results showed that through one semester of infiltration education, there was no significant difference before and after education in the control group, and there was a significant difference before and after infiltration education in the experimental group. There were significant differences between students in the experimental group and the control group in the three dimensions of public health safety knowledge, attitude and behavior, and the experimental group had better infiltration effect than the control group without infiltration education.Teachers’ infiltration of public health safety education in classroom teaching combined with the content of biology textbooks can help students improve their knowledge of public health safety, and the enriched knowledge is conducive to the change of attitude and behavior.A variety of effective infiltration paths combined with classroom teaching infiltration to improve students’ awareness of public health safety attitudes and behaviors. In contrast, there was no significant difference between the control group of students without infiltration education before and after education. This indicates that integrating public health and safety education into junior high school biology teaching is effective and feasible, and also enhances students’ motivation to learn biology.
