| Employment is the biggest livelihood.A new round of industrial revolution is sweeping the world,the digital economy has become a new outlet for economic growth in various countries.Our country’s economy is booming,the industrial structure is accelerating the transformation and upgrading,accompanying with it is the higher requirements for the transformation of employment from “incremental” to“high-quality”.At present,there are employment quality problems in our country,such as inequality of employment opportunities and labor income between regions,imperfect social security system,and low level of labor force human capital.For a long time,the contradiction between labor and capital and the low efficiency of labor factor allocation have seriously hindered the improvement of employment quality.The development of the digital economy continues to innovate new business forms,new industries and new business models,creating a lot of job opportunities.We should take advantage of the trend to improve the quality of employment on the basis of the gradual realization of full employment.The development of the digital economy is a new opportunity to improve the quality of employment,and its characteristics of substitutability,permeability and synergy provide a feasible path for the realization of high-quality employment in our country.Based on this background,this article focuses on the actual situation of various areas in our country,an d di s c u s s e s t h e re l a t i o n s h i p b e t w e e n t h e de v e l o p m e n t o f t h e di g i t a l economy and the quality of employment.Firstly,we discuss the connotation,impact and related empirical research of the digital economy,as well as the connotation,influencing factors and construction of the evaluation index system of employment quality.Secondly,based on the perspective of labor supply,the type of labor is distinguished,and the mechanism of action is analyzed from the four aspects of technological skill improved,brought about by the digital economy development,human capital level promotion,industrial structure upgrade,labor and social security changes.And on the basis of the foregoing,this paper proposed three hypotheses.Thirdly,analyzed the status quo of our country’s digital economy development and employment quality.Then,select the panel data of 30 provinces in our country from 2010 to 2020 as the research sample,constructed an evaluation index system to measure the digital economy development level and employment quality level of various provinces and cities in our country.And from the three perspectives of direct influence,mediation and heterogeneity analysis,carry out empirical test,get the results and analyzed.Finally,put forward policy suggestions: First,improve laws and regulations,and strengthen institutional guarantees.Ensure the healthy and long-term development of the digital industry,and steadily advance the digital transformation of the industry.Meanwhile,it pays attention to protecting workers’ rights,and better improves the social security system,so that the employment quality can keep up with the vigorous development of the digital economy and achieve synchronous development.Second,increase the guidance on the construction and investment of the digital economy,and accelerate the construction of digital China,so as to enhance the important role of the “digital dividend” in achieving higher-quality employment.Third,multi-party cooperation and multiple measures to help improve the quality of employment.The research results of this paper show that: first,the development of digital economy has a positive impact on the improvement of employment quality.Second,human capital plays an indirect intermediary role in the process of the impact of the development of the digital economy on the quality of employment.In regions with higher levels of human capital and more developed economies,the development of the dig i t al econ om y wi l l pla y a gre at er ro l e in im prov i ng the qu a li t y of employment.Third,there are differences in the impact of digital economy development on the employment quality of heterogeneous workforce. |
