Aesthetic literacy is an important part of the core literacy of Chinese teaching.Students can improve their aesthetic literacy by understanding the relevant aesthetic theories and carrying out a lot of aesthetic practice.The junior middle school stage is a very critical period.Chinese is a humanistic subject,so it plays an important role in improving students’ aesthetic literacy.In the process of learning Chinese for junior high school students,contemporary prose has always been a very important part.It has obvious aesthetic characteristics in terms of language,artistic conception,emotion and philosophical thinking,and is a good way of aesthetic education.In particular,some excellent classic contemporary prose can enable students to learn a lot of aesthetic knowledge in terms of language,emotion,and philosophical thinking,and gain the experience of beauty at the same time,which has many advantages in training students’ aesthetic appreciation and aesthetic creation.The paper is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the research background,methods and ideas.At the same time,it gives a comprehensive review of many related researches,and defines the main concepts of this study.The second part is based on the reading of many papers and books,taking three junior middle schools in Zhengzhou as the observation objects,through the questionnaire survey and interview research,showing the current situation of aesthetic literacy cultivation in contemporary prose teaching.From the perspectives of teachers and students,the individuality and commonality of the observation samples were analyzed.The third part is the conclusion and summary of the investigation results.After the research and investigation,we found that obvious practical problems in the cultivation of aesthetic literacy in Zhengzhou junior middle schools Chinese contemporary prose teaching.Specifically,students are less motivated to learn,and their aesthetic feelings are relatively weak.Teachers have insufficient experience in aesthetic teaching,poor teaching scene creation,and imperfect teaching evaluation.Combining the current situation of teaching,we found the main reasons in terms of teachers,students,families and educational environment.The fourth part is the research on strategies.Based on the current problems and reasons,five strategies are put forward: improve teachers’ theoretical and practical quality of aesthetic,and to be a good example;guide students to discover beauty;draw vivid scenes from prose,make students imaginative;practice prose reading and writing more to enable students to express better;adopt a variety of prose teaching evaluation,emphasizing aesthetic creativity.The fifth part takes "Winter in Jinan" and "Lantern" as examples to show the teaching design cases of contemporary prose teaching based on aesthetic literacy.The last part is the summary and discussion,including the contribution and the insufficiency of this paper.At the same time,it looks forward to the theme and possible goals of this research in the next stage.
