Group Work Involved In The Social Adaptation Of The Elderly Relocated From Inhospitable Places

The realistic predicament of "one party cannot support the other" made some people fall into the poverty trap which was difficult to escape.Therefore,the country carried out the relocation policy of poverty alleviation in inhospitable areas on a large scale during the 13 th Five-Year Plan period.So far,our country has achieved total poverty alleviation and entered a key link with rural revitalization.How to make the relocated immigrants stabilize,integrate and live a good life after relocation,and how to realize the rural revitalization of the new residence has become an urgent issue.In the face of the change of life scene,livelihood and lifestyle,in the population composition of the relocation group,the elderly have encountered great challenges in social adaptation due to their physical function decline,strong nostalgia,weak adaptability and other characteristics.Therefore,to solve the problem of social adaptation of the elderly who are relocated is not only one of the basic points to promote comprehensive rural revitalization,but also a major proposition for the social work profession in the new era.In this study,the elderly aged 60 to 75 years old in the poverty-relief relocation community in S,Shanxi Province are the main research objects.Through qualitative research methods,the social adaptation of the elderly in S community is analyzed from four aspects: livelihood,life,social interaction and community belonging.Under the guidance of the theory of social support and the theory of advantage perspective,the author intervenes in the social adaptation of the elderly in community S,designs the group activity plan and carries out nine group activities.Through summary and reflection,the author puts forward the path to improve the social adaptation of the elderly who have relocated from the easy place,and promotes the realization of effective governance goals under the background of rural revitalization.
