The junior high school physics proficiency examination is an examination that measures students’ academic achievements at the end of compulsory education and provides an important basis for junior high school graduation and further education.In recent years,with the advancement of the reform of physics course evaluation,the corresponding examination evaluation content has placed more emphasis on the examination of students’ core literacy in physics.Contextualized test questions are a type of test questions that integrate problems into situational materials,use situations to carry the examination content,reflect the core literacy intention,can comprehensively detect students’ learning achievements,students in the process of solving contextualized test questions,can show students’ thinking process,to achieve the understanding of students’ physical content and the use of physical knowledge to explain phenomena and solve problems and other ability to test.Therefore,contextualized questions become an effective tool for measuring students’ academic performance.However,there are problems such as “pseudosituation”,disconnection between situation and ability,and different evaluation results of different types of students in the process of contextualized test question system,which affect their functioning.Therefore,this paper studies the characteristics of the physics contextualized test questions in junior high school at this stage,and provides some thoughts and suggestions for the command of the test questions,the teaching of teachers and the learning of students,and strives to achieve the best use of contextualized test questions.This paper adopts the literature research method and content analysis method to analyze the contextualized test questions in the examination paper from the four dimensions of contextual materials,knowledge content,openness of test questions,and ability examination in 2021,and summarize their examination characteristics.It is found that in 2021,China’s eastern,central and western junior high school physics industry level examinations all pay attention to the proposition of contextualized test questions,contextualized test questions account for a relatively high proportion in the junior high school physics industry level examination,reaching more than 80%,situational materials are diverse,experimental situations,daily life situations and modern technology and production situations account for higher scores,and different types of situational materials also contain the educational value of different functions.In terms of knowledge content,the proposition system of contextualized test questions is more focused on the examination of the theme of “movement and interaction” and the theme of “energy”,and the knowledge level is mainly concentrated on level two and level three.Short answer questions,experimental inquiry questions and comprehensive application questions all cover open-ended questions.In addition,the ability dimension examines scientific reasoning ability and scientific inquiry ability frequently.Based on this,the proposal for the junior high school physics proficiency examination is proposed,first,to ensure the scientific nature of the contextualized test questions;second,strengthen the connection between situational materials and problems;Third,set a corresponding number of open-ended topics;Fourth,the experimental inquiry questions can enhance the examination of the ability of “asking question” and “communicating and reflecting”;Fifth,increase the attractiveness of contextualized test questions;Sixth,use the situation wisely and set up comprehensive topics.and make relevant recommendations for teachers’ teaching and students’ learning. |
