Since the 18th CPC National Congress,friendship has been proposed as a value.The Party and the state attach great importance to the cultivation and practice of core values of youth.The report of the 20 th CPC National Congress proposed to establish socialist core values and improve the system of the Curriculum Ideology and Politics,which is an inevitable requirement of fostering virtue through education.Teachers should integrate the basic requirements of socialist core values into the whole process of education and establish the concept of “three all education”.Friendly values are the basic requirements for establishing good interpersonal relations and maintaining social relations.The cultivation and practice of adolescents’ friendly values play an extremely important role in their physical and mental health and future development.Good psychological suzhi is of great significance to the development of student’s physical and mental health.Students with higher mental health level tend to show more prosocial behaviors.According to the Guideline for Mental Health Education in Primary and Secondary Schools identifies(2012),interpersonal communication is regarded as the main content of mental health education for primary and secondary school students.The guideline also points out that helping students to establish good interpersonal relationships is conducive to the improvement of students’ psychological suzhi.To sum up,the cultivation of friendly values is receiving increased attention,and has become an important way to promote students’ social adaptability and improve their psychological suzhi.This thesis includes three studies.Firstly,the author investigates the status quo of friendly values of primary and secondary school students.Secondly,the author examines the relationship between friendly values and psychological suzhi among high school students,and further explores the mediating effect of prosocial tendency on friendly values and psychological suzhi.Finally,in order to improve the psychological suzhi of students,the author develops a friendly values cultivation course suitable for students in the first grade of high school and put forward educational suggestions for reference.In Study 1,a total of 959 students in grades 3,5,7,and 10 are used as valid subjects to measure students’ friendly values by using the friendly subscale in the revised Core Values Scale for Primary and Secondary Schools Students.The results showed that the level of friendly values of primary school students was significantly higher than that of middle school students,the level of friendly values of students in the first grade of high school was the lowest.and there is significant difference between different genders in the identification of friendly values.In Study 2,286 students in the first grade of high school were used as valid subjects to measure students’ friendly values,prosocial tendencies and psychological suzhi,to examine the correlation between the three and to further explore the role of prosocial tendencies in the relationship between friendly values and psychological sushi by using the revised Core Values Scale for Primary and Secondary Schools Students,Prosocial Tendencies Measure and Psychological Suzhi Questionnaire for Middle school students.The results showed that:(1)the friendly values,prosocial tendency and psychological suzhi of the students in the first grade of high school were positively correlated with each other;(2)Prosocial tendencies partially mediates the relationship between friendly values and psychological sushi.Study 3 develops a friendly values cultivation curriculum for the students in the first grade of high school based on the current situation and developmental needs of them.This curriculum focuses on the cultivation and practice of friendly values of first grade students of high school,involves ten thematic courses,and incorporates the cultivation of friendly values in mental health education.Based on the psychological development concept,observational learning,social learning and other relevant theories,through role-playing,example demonstration and other forms of activities,the curriculum helps students realize that friendship is a basic guideline for handling interpersonal relations through real experiences,promote prosocial tendencies,feel the joy of building good peer relationships,and actively guide them to identify with and practice friendly values.Based on the findings of this thesis,the following educational recommendations are proposed:1.There is a positive correlation between friendly values and psychological suzhi among elementary and high school students.Therefore,attention should be paid to friendly values in education and educators should actively guide students to identify with and practice friendly values.2.High school is a critical period when students are preparing to enter the adult stage.Mental health education should be widely emphasized to further improve the psychological suzhi of primary and secondary school students and help them develop harmoniously physically and mentally.3.The cultivation of friendly values among high school students needs to be strengthened.Therefore,schools should actively implement the curriculum of cultivating friendly values and permeate friendship in multiple subjects.4.To improve students’ prosocial tendencies and establish friendly peer group relationships.we should help students to establish a friendly peer group relationship.
