The development of college basketball is closely connected with the future of Chinese basketball.In 2021,the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC)put forward the Proposal on Further Improving College Sports and College Students’ Physical Fitness,which clarified that an important sign of physical health is the physical fitness of young students,and emphasized the promotion of college sports reform and optimization of physical education curriculum.Schools in order to further respond to the call,the first time to take measures to promote the development of physical education courses.Basketball is a high-intensity confrontational sport,which requires excellent athletes to have the qualities of speed,agility,explosive power and so on.This study probes into the influence of SAQ training on students of different levels when it is introduced into the teaching of college basketball general courses compared with the conventional teaching methods,provides a new idea for the reform of college basketball general courses,and enriched the teaching content and training means.By using the method of literature,expert interview,teaching experiment and mathematical statistics,68 students of Physical education Class 12201 and Class 12202 of Physical Education College of Yangtze University are taken as the experimental objects.They are divided into experimental class(Class 12201 of Physical Education)and control class(Class 12202 of Physical education).According to the final screening group index,they were divided into experimental novice group(A1 group),experimental expert group(A2 group),control novice group(B1 group)and control expert group(B2 group),with 17 people in each group.Under the condition of strict control of external interference,the training lasted for 12 weeks.Through literature review and expert interviews,six test indexes are selected from the two dimensions of special physical fitness and basketball skill level after expert scores.The test indexes representing special physical fitness are full-court sprint test,4×10 meter return-to-run test and run-up touch test.The test indexes that represent the level of basketball skills are the dribble half court reentry layup test,the 12-meter dribble running around the stick test and the one-minute shooting test.Using SPSS27.0 to process the experimental data,draw the following research conclusions:(1)The SAQ training method has a better effect on the improvement of specific physical fitness of students in the novice group of basketball general course than the conventional teaching method.After the experiment,there is a statistically significant difference in the improvement of the two groups,and there is an extremely significant difference in the test of running proficiency.It shows that SAQ training method is more suitable for novice students to improve their special physical quality.(2)There is no significant difference between SAQ training method and conventional teaching method in the improvement range of basketball skill level of students in the novice group,and after the experiment,there is no statistically significant difference in the improvement range of the novice group in the experimental class and the control class,indicating that the two methods have roughly the same impact on the basketball skill level of the novice group in the general basketball course.All of these can improve the basketball skills of novice students.(3)Both the SAQ training method and the conventional teaching method have positive effects on the specialized physical fitness of the expert group students,and there are significant differences between the experimental group expert group and the control group expert group in the full-field sprint test after the experiment,indicating that SAQ training method and the conventional teaching method are helpful to improve the specialized physical fitness of the expert group students on the whole.In contrast,SAQ training is more helpful to improve the linear sprint ability of students at this level.(4)Both the SAQ training method and the conventional teaching method have a positive impact on the basketball skill level of the expert group students,and after the experiment,there is a significant difference between the expert group of the experimental class and the expert group of the control class in the 12-meter dribbling around the stick test,and the improvement of the expert group of the control class is greater than that of the experimental class.It shows that the two methods have roughly the same effect on the students of expert group in general basketball course.The conventional teaching method has a significant effect on the combination of the forward direction change dribbling ability and speed ability of expert group students.(5)SAQ training has a positive effect on the specific physical fitness and basketball skill level of students of different levels in basketball general courses.After the experiment,the improvement of the two groups of the experimental class novice group and the experimental class expert group was statistically significant only in the run-up test,and there was no significant difference in other groups.The increase of the novice group was generally higher than the expert group.It shows that SAQ training is helpful to improve the special physical quality and basketball skill level of students at different levels,and has better effect on the explosive power improvement of novice students with relatively weak foundation.(6)The influence of conventional teaching methods on the specific physical fitness and basketball skill of students at different levels is positive on the whole,and after the experiment,the improvement of the novice group in the control class and the expert group in the control class is statistically significant difference only in the running test,and the increase of the expert group is generally higher than that of the novice group.It shows that the conventional teaching method is also helpful to improve the special physical quality and basketball skill level of students at different levels,and is more suitable for students with basic expert group level.
