"We will strengthen the ranks of mental health professionals and improve the incentive mechanism for mental health service professionals." Teachers are the key to the quality of mental health education.Education is the foundation for a hundred years.Teachers are the foundation of education. After the 18 th national congress of the communist party of China, the party and the country have paid great attention to the construction of the teaching staff. At the 2018 national education congress,Xi Jinping stressed that "teachers are the engineers of the human soul and the inheritors of human civilization" and "let teachers enjoy due social prestige." Therefore,it is the common call of the party and the society to focus on the mental health education in primary and secondary schools and build a teacher team with high professional quality and strong practical experience. So,it is of great theoretical significance and practical value to pay attention to the research on the construction of psychological health education teachers in primary and secondary schools. In this study, questionnaires and interviews were conducted in 32 primary and secondary schools in changsha and yongzhou to understand the current situation of mental health education teachers in primary and secondary schools.it is found that the teachers of mental health education in primary and secondary schools have the following problems: first, the structure of teachers for mental health education in primary and secondary schools is unreasonable;Secondly, the professional knowledge and skills of teachers are not high.Third, the mental health education teachers’ workload intensity is big,the post-service training is few;Fourth, the position of the professional title assessment office is weak, the level of pay is low, school leaders pay attention to the degree is not enough and so on,these seriously restrict the effective development of mental health education. Then it analyzes the causes of the problems mainly from the government, schools, teachers and students.First, the government macro-control and supervision is not perfect;Secondly, school leaders have insufficient understanding of the importance of mental health education.Third, the teacher’s own subjective initiative is not strong, the study consciousness is weak, the economic pressure is big,the self-confidence is insufficient;Fourth, there is a deviation in students’ learning concept, and they do not pay special attention to psychological courses, which will indirectly affect the side impact of psychological teachers work enthusiasm.Based on the above analysis, the paper puts forward the strategies to improve the construction of teachers.Firstly, the government should strengthen the implementation of policies and optimize the construction of psychological teachers.Secondly, school leaders to improve awareness, establish a sound incentive mechanism;Thirdly, psychological teachers should strengthen their self-cultivation and constantly improve their professional skills. Finally, students should change their ideas and pay active attention to mental health education. |
