| The new high school chemistry textbook was employed in 2019 and has been promoted and used in various provinces.Among them,the "research and practice" column is one of the new featured columns under the "literacy-based" concept,and the research content and purpose of this column are highly matched with the "scientific attitude and social responsibility" literacy.In order to cultivate new talents in line with the development of the times,implement the requirements of the new curriculum standards,and play the important role of textbooks,this study explores the "research and practice" column and its cultivation of "scientific attitude and social responsibility" literacy.First,according to the description of "scientific attitude and social responsibility" in the "General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" and drawing on previous studies,it is divided into eight dimensions: value cognition,theory with practice,critical innovation,rigorous realism,courage to explore,responsibility for resources and the environment,sense of mission to serve the society,and patriotism.Secondly,the "research and practice" columns in the new high school chemistry textbooks of the People’s Education Press were counted,and the composition,structure,content characteristics and teaching functions of the column were summarized by using the content analysis method.Then the questionnaire survey method and interview method were used to investigate the teaching status of the "research and practice" column in a high school in Emeishan City,Sichuan Province.Thirdly,according to the characteristics and teaching status of "research and practice" column,combined with the various dimensions of "scientific attitude and social responsibility" literacy,this paper puts forward the teaching principles and strategies of using this column to improve the literacy of "scientific attitude and social responsibility".Fourth,select the appropriate teaching strategies to carry out the teaching design and practice of the three research and practice columns of the first volume of the new high school chemistry textbook,"understanding the production history of soda ash","inspection of iron in food" and "understanding the periodic table of elements".According to the difference between the literacy test scores of the experimental class and the control class,combined with student interviews,the teaching effect is reflected.The results show that the column of "research and practice" applying can effectively cultivate students’ scientific attitude and social responsibility literacy,and can stimulate students’ interest in learning chemistry.Therefore,teachers should pay enough attention to this column,give full play to the value and function of the textbook column,and realize the fundamental task of "cultivating people by virtue". |
