The employment of college graduates has always been a hot issue of widespread concern in society and academia, and the employment situation of college graduates in Beijing will have a direct impact on the development and allocation of human resources in Beijing, and the willingness of graduates to stay in Beijing directly determines whether graduates will choose to work in Beijing, most of the graduates will choose to stay in Beijing for employment, and non-Beijing graduates of Beijing colleges and universities are uncertain because of many influencing factors.Based on this, this paper studies and analyzes the willingness of nonBeijing Beijing college graduates to stay in Beijing and its influencing factors.By investigating Beijing’s employment situation and market resources, research and design are carried out on the basis of three theories, including human capital theory, social capital theory and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory, and the variables affecting the employment intention of Beijing college graduates to stay in Beijing are determined, including demographic and human capital variables, personal subjective factors, family and regional factors, etc.,and questionnaires are designed.Subsequently,500 questionnaires were randomly sampled and distributed from the Class of 2022 graduates from five universities, including Chinese Minmin University,Beijing University of Chemical Technology,Beijing Institute of Technology,Beihang University and Capital Normal University, and the collected questionnaires were corrected.Next, with the help of SPSS,the reliability and validity test of the questionnaire was carried out,and the descriptive and correlation analysis of the variables was carried out to observe the correlation between these influencing factors and the willingness to stay in Beijing, and a model was constructed for logistic regression analysis to verify the research hypothesis.A total of 440 valid questionnaires were screened in this study, including 240(54.6%)men and 200(45.4%)women.In terms of origin,it was divided into eastern region(38.0%),central region(32.7%),northeast region(18.0%)and western region(11.2%).Non-only children accounted for 60.5%.The reliability analysis of the questionnaire showed that the Clonbach alpha coefficient of the overall data of the questionnaire was0.837,and the value of the Cronbach coefficient of different types of survey items was greater than 0.7,and the validity analysis showed that the KMO value of all variables was above 0.7,the significance level of all variables was less than 0.005,and the cumulative variance of each variable was greater than 60%.According to the regression results of the influence of various variables on the willingness to stay in Beijing, the personal factors were based on the place of origin, the type of university, the preference and career intention of Beijing.Family factors include annual family income, father’s work unit type and parents’ social relationship in Beijing;Among the regional factors, economic conditions, housing prices and living costs played a significant role in the willingness to stay in Beijing(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that gender, only child, internship experience, preference for Beijing, career intention, parents’ wishes, annual family income, parents’ highest education, and regional satisfaction were significantly correlated with the willingness of college graduates to stay in Beijing and work(P<0.05).The conclusions of this study are as follows: sex(male)and non-only child status in demographic variables;internship experience in the human capital variable;preferences for Beijing among personal subjective variables;the wishes of the parents in the family background and the annual income of the family;Regional satisfaction is an important factor that significantly affects graduates’ willingness to stay in Beijing to work. |
