Research On The Collaborative Development Of Mass Sports Events In Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle

The foundation of a strong sports country lies in mass sports.Mass sports must be strong and prosperous,and the development of mass sports events is the main way.As a major strategy for the country to promote the coordinated development of regions,the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle will develop mass sports events with its own regional characteristics,which will not only promote the transformation and upgrading of events,but also enhance the influence and attraction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.This article uses literature review,field investigation,and interview methods to analyze the current development status and influencing factors of mass sports events in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.Research has found that the current political,economic,resource,and technological environment of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle are conducive to the coordinated development of mass sports events.Although the collaborative development of mass sports events in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle has achieved certain results,there are still problems in its collaborative development process,such as insufficient marketization process,insufficient brand awareness,incomplete collaborative development system,and uneven distribution of hosting locations,Based on the collaborative development of mass sports events in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle,the WSR system analysis method was used to divide the main influencing factors of the collaborative development of mass sports events in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle from three dimensions:physics(W),reason(S),and personal reason(R),Based on the questionnaire survey method,a field survey was conducted on the ’First Mass Sports Competition in the Adjacent Areas of Sichuan and Chongqing’ and the’2022 City Landmark(Chengyu)Physical Fitness Competition’ to explore the relationship between each element and the coordinated development of mass sports events in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.The research results show that all three dimensions of factors are related to the coordinated development of mass sports events in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle,specifically manifested in the moderate correlation between event resources and the coordinated development of mass sports events the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle;Event products,market demand,policy systems,and collaborative mechanisms are significantly related to the collaborative development of mass sports events in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle;The operation of events,participants or observers,and other stakeholders are highly related to the collaborative development of mass sports events in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.Based on on-site research and analysis results,suggestions are proposed for the coordinated development of mass sports events in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle region.Firstly,’things’ should be used to run through the coordinated development of mass sports events in the dual city economic circle of the Chengdu Chongqing region,enriching the supply of event activities;Secondly,Implement the coordinated development of mass sports events in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle through ’events’,and expand the influence of the events;Thirdly,Assisting the coordinated development of mass sports events in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle with ’people’ and increasing the stickiness of event consumption.
