In the context of information technology,with the rapid development of mobile networks,smart devices like cell phones have become not only new toys for children,but also new tools for extracurricular learning.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out at the National Education Conference that it is necessary to further strengthen and improve aesthetic education in schools on an all-round basis,with a focus on beauty and culture,and to continuously improve the aesthetic and humanistic qualities of students.Therefore there is some value in promoting the design of APP for art courses for preschool children.This thesis takes design education as the starting point and takes the preschool children’s art curriculum APP as the entry point of the study.It analyses the characteristics of preschool children’s physiological,psychological,cognitive and behavioural development through five major theoretical systems,and explores the design strategies of preschool children’s art curriculum APP by combining the analysis of outstanding cases,hoping to promote the development of preschool children’s art curriculum APP and enhance preschool children’s sense of beauty and experience.This thesis explores the design strategies of preschool children’s art course app,hoping to promote the development of preschool children’s art course app and enhance preschool children’s sense of beauty and experience.Based on the five levels of user experience theory,mobile application design,STEAM theory,emotional design and Merleau-Ponty’s child psychology.Firstly,by using preschool children aged 3-6years old and their parents as the target users.The Literature analysis and case study analysis were used to find out their current problems and to look into their future development trends.Secondly,through observation and interviews,a qualitative and quantitative analysis and study of the physiological,psychological,cognitive and behavioural developmental characteristics of preschool children aged 3-6 years was carried out,and the needs and expectations of parents and children for preschool children’s art course APPs were summarised and concluded.Furthermore,through the research of the art education app for preschool children,and according to the five levels theory,the various levels of the art app for preschool children are analysed and the design of the art education app for preschool children is summarised.Finally,a set of design practices is initially set according to the design strategy of the preschool children’s art curriculum APP.In the general environment of quality education,art education in preschool education is also valued by the majority of educators.Nowadays,more and more 90 s parents pay attention to the cultivation of their children’s creativity.In the art course APP,parents,as operators and companions,also play the role of parents in the APP,helping preschoolers aged 3-6 to learn online when they use the art course APP.The purpose of this thesis is to explore in depth the design of an art curriculum app for preschoolers,based on the user experience of preschoolers aged 3-6,to stimulate their curiosity about new things and to develop their observation,expression,practical skills and creative thinking.This thesis also focuses on the user experience of parents of 3-6 year old children to increase the acceptance of preschool children’s art course app better and help children to use the art course app accurately.A good preschool children’s art course app can not only enlighten children visually and aurally,but also stimulate their imagination and creativity,as well as develop their interest in art.Therefore,it is hoped that the research and design strategies in this thesis can be applied to the development of art curriculum APPs for preschool children aged 3-6.
