The promulgation and implementation of the "double reduction" policy has ushered in a new opportunity for the development of after-school extended sports services.The "double reduction" policy states that the long-term burden of homework and the excessive burden of out-of-school training faced by students should be effectively reduced,and the level of after-school services should be improved.The after-school services.After-school extended day sports service is an important part of after-school service,which plays an important role in enhancing students’ physical fitness,reducing their academic burden,cultivating their willpower and establishing a lifelong awareness of sports.The development of after-school extended day sports services can not only alleviate the problems of high myopia,overweight and obesity among students,but also solve the problem of parents not being able to take over their children on time.However,since the implementation of after-school extended day physical education service is not long,there are still some problems in the process of implementation.Therefore,this paper uses literature,interviews,questionnaires,mathematical statistics,logical analysis,and relevant policy documents to investigate the implementation of after-school extended physical education services in four elementary school in Qingyang District,Chengdu,analyze the problems in the implementation of after-school extended physical education services,and propose effective countermeasures.The following conclusions were drawn from this study:(1)The after-school extended sports service in elementary school in Qingyang District,Chengdu,is well developed,and all schools carry out after-school extended sports service according to the policy requirements,mainly in the form of clubs,and schools mainly promote the after-school extended sports service by means of We Chat groups and informing parents,but the promotion content is single.(2)The number of teachers for after-school extended hours sports services is insufficient.The physical education teachers are composed of teachers from our school and coaches from third-party institutions,mainly our physical education teachers,and the teachers for after-school extended hours sports services are mainly young teachers.(3)After-school extended hours sports service projects are carried out less,the number of projects is larger,the project options are less,can not meet the needs of some students,the lack of sports venues,most projects in the athletic field,easy to cause safety hazards,special weather on the normal teaching of after-school extended hours sports service is greater.(4)Students are highly motivated to participate in after-school extended hours sports services,and their motivation for participation is mainly to enhance physical fitness,master a sport skill and hobby,but the arrangement of exercise quantity for after-school extended hours sports services is not reasonable.(5)The after-school extended hours sports service is supported by most parents,and the funding of the activities is subsidized by the government and supported by parents,and the service fees are in line with the requirements of the document,and some parents think that the after-school extended hours sports service can solve the problem of difficult child transportation,but the majority of parents do not participate in the evaluation of the after-school extended hours sports service.Based on the problems and shortcomings of after-school extended day physical education services,the following recommendations are made:(1)Various ways to publicize.Schools should actively publicize the after-school extended physical education service through the school’s official website,We Chat public number,bulletin boards,a letter to parents,parent meetings and other means to make students and parents fully aware of the importance of the after-school extended physical education service,so that more students can participate in the after-school extended physical education service.(2)Optimize the construction of teachers and improve the utilization rate of venues.Schools should continuously improve the specialization of teachers for after-school extended sports services,actively introduce off-campus training institutions and cooperate with sports colleges and universities to solve the problem of insufficient teachers for after-school extended sports services and enrich service programs.Schools should also actively explore the school’s spare space,reasonable development and transformation,while staggering the time to carry out after-school extended sports services.(3)Reasonably set the amount of exercise and establish a systematic evaluation mechanism.Teachers should develop the teaching contents of after-school extended physical education services according to students’ age,gender and physical development characteristics,and choose the amount of exercise suitable for students’ physical and mental development in the design of teaching contents.The school should establish a feedback mechanism for multiple evaluations by students,parents and teachers to solve the problems fed back by each subject in a timely manner and propose reasonable countermeasures to solve them,so as to improve the satisfaction of each subject. |
