| At present,the scale of rural-urban migrant children is large and the growth rate is fast.However,the current stage of migrant children in the process of social integration encountered quite a lot of structural and individual obstacles,the overall social integration situation is poor,which is not conducive to the physical,psychological and social development of migrant children.Compared with their parents’ generation,migrant children are more inclined to settle down in cities.Promoting their social integration is an important opportunity to improve and develop China’s public welfare system.This paper aims to analyze the current situation,difficulties and causes of the social integration of migrant children from the perspective of social work,and explore a more scientific and reasonable social work intervention path to promote the social integration of migrant children.Taking Q Industrial Park in Zhuhai City as an example,supported by social integration theory and structural theory,this paper analyzes the current situation,difficulties and reasons of social integration of migrant children in Q Industrial Park by using the method of literature research,interview and participation observation.On this basis,it carries out social work practice by using direct and indirect working methods.The study found that migrant children have difficulties in social integration in education,social,psychological and cultural aspects.At the level of education,there are insufficient educational resources and lack of educational atmosphere.At the social level,there are weak social belonging and limited channels for making friends.On the psychological level,there are problems of identity detachment and obvious discrimination perception.At the cultural level,there are some problems such as single entertainment activities and simple city understanding.The above difficulties should be attributed from two aspects:social structure and individual actions.At the level of social structure,the non-economic component of migrant children leads to the exclusion of urban norms in migrant areas,and the weak social support of migrant children leads to more obstacles in obtaining social integration resources.At the level of individual action,migrant children lack the initiative of social integration,lack of integration motivation,poor practical ability and weak reflective consciousness.Based on this,a "social structure-individual action" social work intervention path is constructed.At the level of social structure,indirect social work methods are mainly adopted to intervene.The specific methods include developing support to transfer resources for social integration,and researching and advocating to promote the improvement of social integration norms.At the level of individual action,direct social work is mainly used to intervene.The specific methods are to create an atmosphere to stimulate the motivation of social integration,strengthen guidance to develop the ability of social integration,and deepen interaction to promote social integration reflection.Finally,this study reflects on the "social structure-individual action" social work intervention path.The main innovation point of this paper is the innovation of research path.Previous studies on social work promoting the social integration of migrant children mostly focused on the intervention path at the level of individual action,while this paper took into account both the intervention path at the level of individual action and the level of social structure. |
