| Children are the hope and future of a country,and good work for children plays a very important role in social development.In the group of children,there is a special vulnerable group-children in difficulties.They are in trouble because of family poverty,serious illness or disability,lack of family care and other reasons,and then face problems in life,study,psychology and other aspects.There is an urgent need for government and society to take measures to help children solve their problems.In recent years,children in distress have gradually come into the public eye and become the focus of social attention.Many cities and regions are carrying out services related to children in difficulties to ensure their growth and development.These include government departments purchasing social work service projects,social organizations conducting service activities for children in distress in the community,and other types of service activities.However,it is necessary to know whether the relevant services carried out can meet the needs of children in difficulties,and analyze the difficulties faced by the relevant services in the implementation process,so as to provide experience reference for the later development of relevant services.Based on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory and social support network theory,this paper takes the "Child Care Growth·Be with me" social work service project for children in difficulties of the J institution in L City as an example.Using questionnaire survey,interview and participatory observation method,this paper firstly briefly describes the specific services carried out by the project to meet the various needs of children in difficulties and the results achieved by the service.Then it focuses on the analysis of the service project in the process of implementation of the main difficulties and causes,finally based on the above difficulties put forward solutions.The main findings in the study are as follows:First,social work intervention in the project for children in distress can play a good effect,to achieve the "last mile" of services for children in distress;Secondly,the professionalism of social workers and social worker organizations affects the professionalism of services.Finally,there are difficulties in the development process of the project,which hinder the development of the project to varying degrees.By putting forward targeted suggestions,it is helpful to solve the difficulties and promote the development of the project.The difficulties faced by service projects in the process of implementation mainly focus on three aspects:service subject,service object and service organization.At the service subject level,the dilemma includes the lack of practical experience,the low professional quality,the ambiguity of the role of social workers,and the ethical dilemma social workers face in the service.At the level of service object,the difficulties include complexity of service object problems and diversity of needs,weak social support of service object,and lack of enthusiasm of service object to participate in social work activities.At the level of service organizations,it includes the lack of professional staff,the lack of effective supervision and support,and the insufficient use of institutional resources.Then,in order to solve the dilemma,the author puts forward some reasonable suggestions:at the level of service subject,we should attach importance to theoretical study,strengthen professional consciousness,abide by professional ethics,and improve professional ability.At the level of service objects,existing resources should be integrated,potential resources should be developed to meet the needs,publicity of social work projects should be strengthened,social influence should be expanded to obtain social support,base construction should be strengthened,and activity innovation should be strengthened to improve the enthusiasm of children in difficulties.Training existing employees at the level of service orgamizations,attracting talents of social workers,developing supervisory resources,establishing diversified supervisory support,and improving institutional management system.Finally,it is hoped that this study can play a complementary role in the research related to the service project for children in difficulties,and analyze the shortcomings of the research from the two aspects of research duration and theoretical research,so as to provide theoretical learning and reference for future generations. |
