A Case Study Of Social Work Intervention In Relief For Children In Distress

As of July 2019,there are about 500,000 unsupported children in my country(including children with disabled parents).The problem of children in distress is very serious,and the task of guaranteeing them is extremely arduous.This problem urgently needs to be resolved.In recent years,although the government has adopted the model of purchasing social work services to intervene in social assistance for children in distress,the intervention of professional social workers has achieved certain service results.However,our country has not yet formed a mature social work model that intervenes in the rescue services for children in distress.To this end,this article mainly uses the theory of ecosystems and adopts qualitative research methods to analyze how to intervene in social assistance for children in difficulties.From the four aspects of micro,meso,appearance and macro system,the case work process of the Xiaoyou case is discussed in detail.Comparing Xiaoye’s case shows the importance of social workers’ intervention in the rescue of children in difficulties.Social workers conduct research in the process of service development,and improve services in the process of research.Through joint reflection and summarization of the needs of service objects and ways to better promote their growth,they strive to help children in need have a longer-term and stable Social support and services.The service model shown in the casework method of this article is worthy of promotion and copying,which will help promote the development of the localized model of social work and social assistance services in our country.
