With the deepening of science education research,the attention of science education has shifted to science practice,and science practice has become a hot word in the international science education research.The introduction of the word "practice" in science education is the result of the efforts of science educators to change the disunity of the concept of inquiry and the formalization and representation of classroom inquiry.Scientific practice is the expansion and extension of scientific inquiry and reflects the nature of science.However,there are few researches on physics experiment teaching based on scientific practice in China,few physical experiment teaching is carried out,few opportunities for students to observe and do things by themselves in practice,and teaching practice cases still need to be supplemented.Experiment is an important part of scientific practice,the source of physics concepts and laws,an indispensable part of middle school physics education,and an important way to cultivate students’ core qualities.Unit teaching is an effective way to integrate scattered physics experiments into an organic whole,so that students can study in a higher position.Based on this,this study attempts to explore whether experimental teaching based on scientific practice design and planning unit is helpful to improve the academic quality of high school students and develop the core literacy of physics discipline.After defining the scientific practice,unit teaching and related concepts,this study sorted out the experimental teaching research on scientific practice and unit teaching.On this basis,the research is divided into two parts: theory and practice.The theory part discusses the scientific practice,unit teaching and core quality assessment;In the practical part,based on scientific practice,the experimental teaching of high school physics "Interaction--Force" unit is designed.Part of the teaching design is selected for field experimental research,and the core literacy of physics is evaluated by combining the academic quality level and the classification theory of SOLO level.The practical results show that the unit experimental teaching based on scientific practice cannot significantly improve students’ academic performance in a short period of time,but students have more opportunities to observe and do things in practice,which is helpful for students to reach the academic quality level 3 and 4.Therefore,"unit experimental teaching based on scientific practice" is effective in improving academic quality and cultivating students’ core qualities.
