Research On The Integration Of Chinese Sports Spirit Into Ideological And Political Education In Universities

Guided by Marxist scientific theory,the Communist Party of China has always been devoted to promoting all-round human development.Since the new century,the Party and the state have drew high attention to the development of sports and the promotion of the Chinese sportsmanship,The purpose of digging deeply and releasing actively the ideological and political education function contained in the Chinese sports spirit is to cultivate the socialist new youth with all-round and harmonious development.A strong youth makes a strong country.As a national base for talent cultivation,colleges and universities should play a leading role,provide ideological and political guidance to young people,and deepen patriotism,socialism and collectivism education.The Chinese sports spirit guides the young students to love the motherland,actively contribute,unite and work hard,be scientific and realistic,and obey the law and discipline,which coincides with the goal of ideological and political education in universities.In line with the General Secretary’s ardent expectations for education put forward at the National Congress of Twenty,so the Chinese sports spirit can be incorporated into the ideological and political education of universities can not only develop and promote the spirit of the Chinese sports,More importantly,it can pay full play to the educational role of Chinese sports spirit,attract and inspire more students,achieve the effect of moral cultivation and cultivate high-quality talents worthy of the great task of national rejuvenation.Under such background,this paper deeply aware of the important role of Chinese sportsmanship as an important part of the spiritual pedigrees of the Chinese nation,Having carefully read the general secretary’s important discourse on sports power and the promotion of Chinese sportsmanship,Extensively read relevant scholars’ works and literature on the integration of Chinese sportsmanship into college ideological and political education,studied the achievements and shortcomings of predecessors,and then determined the focus of the research orientation of this paper.There are four parts in this paper:The first part is the theoretical interpretation of the integration of Chinese sportsmanship into college ideological and political education.The first is a summary of the Chinese sportsmanship.The connotation of the Chinese sportsmanship is unanimously recognized by the official definition and academic circles,namely,"winning glory for the country,selfless contribution,scientific and realistic,law-abiding,solidarity and cooperation,and indomitable struggle".The Chinese spirit of sports embodies national consensus,enhances national identity,promotes the construction of a sports power with a boundless spiritual force,and promotes the all-round development of people.The second is the summary of the ideological and political education in universities.The ideological and political education in universities belongs to the content of ideological and political education.It is the practical activity of colleges and universities to cultivate the social newcomers with both ability and virtue,red and professional,and all-round development with the goal of cultivating morality and cultivating people.Finally,it is the theoretical basis for the integration of Chinese sportsmanship into college ideological and political education.It seeks the theoretical basis for the integration of Chinese sports spirit from the classical discourse of Marx and Engels and the theory of Chinese Communists.The acceptance theory of ideological and political education also provides the possibility for the integration.The second part is the necessity and possibility of integrating Chinese sports spirit into college ideological and political education.The necessity is reflected in three aspects: the Chinese sports spirit is helpful to supplement the resources of college ideological and political education,helps to innovate the forms of college ideological and political education,helps to enhance the sense of responsibility and mission of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.The possibility is embodied in two aspects: first,the Chinese sports spirit is highly consistent with the educational goal of ideological and political education in universities,both of which cultivate students’ patriotic spirit,dedication consciousness,scientific and realistic spirit,discipline,rule consciousness,teamwork spirit,tenacious fighting will,etc.Secondly,there is unity between the Chinese sports spirit and the educational function of ideological and political education in universities,realizing the organic unity of theory and practice,indoor and outdoor,recessive and explicit,dynamic and static.The third part is the current situation analysis of the integration of Chinese sports spirit into ideological and political education in universities.Through questionnaires and field interviews,we know that there are some problems in the integration of Chinese sportsmanship into ideological and political education in universities: insufficient understanding of Chinese sportsmanship and general positioning of sports;The utilization rate of network new media is low,and the education mode is backward;The campus culture construction with Chinese sportsmanship as the theme is imperfection;The Approaches to ideological and political theory teaching is not innovative enough,and its appeal is poor.Chinese sports spirit into fragmentation,lack of systematic;The evaluation mechanism of Chinese sportsmanship is not perfect;The resultant force of integrating Chinese sports spirit into ideological and political education in universities has not yet been formed.The fourth part is the practice approach of integrating Chinese sports spirit into college ideological and political education.In view of the problems in the third part,some reasonable suggestions are given: standardize the sports standard,improve the understanding of the integration of Chinese sports spirit;Using new media technology to occupy the network position of Chinese sports spirit education;Actively construct the campus sports culture with Chinese sportsmanship as the theme;To innovate the teaching approaches to Chinese sportsmanship in ideological and political theory courses in universities;Applying the general methods of ideological and political education to make full use of Chinese sports spirit;Perfect the evaluation mechanism of the integration of Chinese sports spirit;Form the joint education mechanism of Chinese sportsmanship into college ideological and political education.In order to try to reverse the dilemma of integrating Chinese sports spirit into ideological and political education in universities,and improve the effect of education.
