Research On The Implementation Path Of Labor Education In Urban Junior High School

As an important part of China’s education system,the functional status of labor education has been continuously improved.The state has issued important policy documents related to labor education one after another in recent years,pointing out the direction for the development of labor education in the new era.Schools are the main institutions and places for labor education,but there are still irregularities,superficiality and formalization in the process of implementation,which seriously restrict the effectiveness of labor education.To this end,this study investigates the implementation of labor education in three urban junior high schools in F city of northern Anhui with the help of questionnaires and interviews,comprehensively analyzes the existing problems,explores countermeasures to solve them and proposes feasible ways to optimize the implementation.The survey showed that labor education in junior high schools suffers from a relative lack of construction of campus labor culture,unsystematic and low-technical labor education curriculum,lack of problem exploration and narrow content of extra-curricular and out-of-school labor practice activities,imperfect evaluation of labor education,and lack of evaluation standards.Based on the existing problems,an in-depth analysis of their causes is mainly influenced by traditional labor concepts leading to cognitive bias,the lack of labor education guarantee mechanism,weak labor education teachers,insufficient labor sites,and the deflated status of labor education.Finally,in view of the dilemmas that exist in the development of labor education in urban junior high schools,five implementation path countermeasures are proposed accordingly to strengthen the scientific labor values leading,build a labor education curriculum system characterized by the times,innovate the practical contents of labor education,support with a perfect labor education guarantee mechanism,and help labor education with the collaboration of multiple parties,in order to guarantee the effective development of labor education.
