Research On Infiltrating Mental Health Education Into Biology Teaching In Senior High School

Abstract/Summary:
Middle school students are in a stage of physiological and psychological changes,in this stage,the psychological development of middle school students is prone to many contradictions,leading to mental health crisis.According to the requirements of the Outline of China’s Education Reform and Development,primary and secondary education should be oriented to all students and improve their physical and mental literacy.The Ministry of Education also pointed out in the "General High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" that biology focuses on the needs of students to adapt to future development and personal life,and its core literacy is the correct values,necessary character and key abilities that students gradually form through subject learning.According to the above outline and standards,the authors believe that teaching biology is a good way to penetrate mental health education,and this approach is in line with the high school biology curriculum standards,which is not only conducive to improving students’ psychological literacy,but also conforms to the high school biology curriculum standards.This article first summarizes related concepts such as mental health and core literacy in biology,the development process of mental health education at home and abroad,and the advantages and feasibility of integrating biological disciplines into mental health education.Furthermore,through the interview method and questionnaire method,the author learned about the current situation of mental health education received by the respondents,analyzed the effectiveness and shortcomings of psychological health education in senior high school biology teaching,and explored various reasons for this phenomenon.The author finds that the specific implementation of the infiltration of mental health education in high school biology teaching is not good,mainly due to the heavy teaching tasks and tight time in high school,and the teachers themselves do not have enough time and opportunities to understand the frontier knowledge and information of mental health education.But the vast majority of high school students do not reject mental health education,infiltrating mental health education in classroom teaching is a kind of mental health education that students are willing to accept.Finally,the author makes two teaching designs for teaching practice.The practice shows that the infiltration of mental health education in different links of high school biology class can adjust the classroom atmosphere,improve students’ learning enthusiasm,and achieve the purpose of mental health education imperceptible.It is feasible and effective to carry out mental health education in high school biology class,and this study is summarized and prospected.
