In order to reduce students’ academic burden and promote students’ healthy growth,in July 2021,the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Further Reducing the Burden of Students’ Homework and Off-school Training in Compulsory Education,which is referred to as "Double Reduction".In the implementation of "double reduction",reducing the burden and improving the quality of the school is the fundamental policy.To this end,in April 2022,the Ministry of Education issued the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)to fully implement the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people,and further deepen the curriculum reform,with emphasis on the cultivation of core Chinese literacy.Chinese homework,as an important part of improving the quality of education and teaching and a key indicator to measure and evaluate the effect of curriculum reform,is an important carrier to implement the core quality of Chinese.In addition,homework is also a necessary part of Chinese teaching,and an important embodiment of testing students’ learning effect and measuring teachers’ professional development level.However,there are some problems in the current homework,which have affected the teaching effect of teachers and the acquisition of students’ knowledge.The research on the subject of Chinese is more concentrated on classroom teaching,and the research on the design and application of homework is relatively lacking.Therefore,with the introduction of the "double reduction" policy and the promotion of the large unit teaching model,the overall design of homework based on the unit has become an important attempt to improve the quality of homework design and reduce the academic burden of students,and to implement the core literacy of Chinese.Based on the Ub D theoretical model,this research has carried out the research on the design and application of Chinese unit homework in junior high school,combining domestic and foreign literature.The first chapter of the paper is the introduction,which accurately locates the topic and research direction of this paper on the basis of reviewing the existing research;The second chapter introduces the junior high school Chinese unit work,and clarifies the core concepts of the article;The third chapter takes the junior high school students and teachers in F city of H province as the research object,and investigates the current situation of the implementation of the junior high school Chinese unit work from the six dimensions of work attitude,work type,work content,work difficulty,work volume and work evaluation,so as to clarify the problems and analyze the reasons;The fourth chapter,based on the literature research and investigation,puts forward the design strategy of Chinese unit homework in junior high school;The fifth chapter,combined with the Ub D theoretical model of Grant Wiggins and Jay Mc Teague,expounds the design scheme of Chinese unit work in junior high school: "subject command,clear direction of unit work-integrated analysis,establish unit work objective-based on objective,determine appropriate evaluation evidence-create situation,design unit work task-overall reflection,analysis and improvement of work";The sixth chapter carries out the practice and effect analysis of unit work based on the unified edition of junior high school Chinese textbooks,and analyzes the application of unit work using questionnaires and interviews,further improving and perfecting the design of junior high school Chinese unit work.To sum up,this study aims to answer the following three questions:(1)What is the current situation of the implementation of Chinese unit work in junior high school?(2)Under the background of "double reduction",how to reduce the burden of students’ homework while implementing the core discipline quality in the homework design?(3)How to improve the quality of job design through effective ways and methods to ensure the operability and effectiveness of unit job design?Through practice and effect analysis,it is found that on the one hand,the design of Chinese unit homework in junior high school under the background of "double reduction" helps to reduce the simple mechanical repetition of low-level goals in different class hours and reduce the unnecessary workload of students;On the other hand,through the overall integration of various elements such as homework objectives,content,evaluation and resources,a comprehensive and systematic overall design will help to enhance the integrity,progressiveness and structure of homework,thus promoting the development and improvement of students’ thinking,and effectively implementing the development of students’ core Chinese literacy.
